2025 Best Tracks part. 9 (of 10)

We start presenting our favorite tracks from 2025. More or less in a chronological order we present here the 9th set of tracks.

We start this round of 10 from where we left the previous, with an edit by Italian producer Trent for Gino Soccio’s ‘Magic‘. This one is a slices of pure disco, Italo and sleaze, a sleek, hypnotic nocturnal track, all cosmic seduction and sequined midnight whispers.

Next is ‘Octagon City‘ by Swedish producer Zabutom on Electro label Stilleben Records.

Followed by veteran Italian DJ and producer, DJ Soch with ‘House Stringh‘. As the title implies, this is a beautifully stringed house track release on Chiwax. The second from the label in this year’s list.

Changing gears, Vakula invites us on a sonic journey with ‘Letters from the Air‘. This one explores the depths of ambient and deep techno, creating atmospheres that envelop the listener in a unique experience. Most of the instruments are organic, complemented by analog synthesizers, giving it a warm and authentic touch.

Picking up the pace again is Tom Carruthers with ‘Move My Body‘ released on Syncrophone, a raw, club-ready cut with sharp grooves and a no-frills old-school touch.

Also from Syncrophone comes ‘Microcentric‘ by heavyweight groove maker E.R.P, with deep electro pressure. And this is the fourth and final track from Gerard Hanson in our 2025 list. True legend.

DMT‘ by Marcel Dettmann provides a slices of time tripping techno, featuring a subconscious awareness from beyond the material realm.

Another dispatch from two familiar conspirators of the Brew fold, Beau Wanzer & Jason Letkiewicz together as The Headaches. ‘Lost Liquids‘ has menacing and psychotic energy with slithering basslines, occult vocal snatches and raw drums.

Free Cigarettes‘ by German coldwaver Johannes Haas (better known by the alias L.F.T.) was released on Mannequin Records. The track unfolds as a dark, mythical tale between punk urgency and electronic precision, between raw emotion and mechanical repetition.

Acid Reaction‘ is the first in a series of new releases by Danilo Plessow (MCDE) under the name Rude Futures. This is a darker, more twisted turn to Danilo’s studio experiments, with a nod to early house and techno.

More to come. Stay tuned.
