Matt Cutler is back with his fifth album, which is an impressive feat in just five years of releasing music. Galaxy Garden starts off on a more esoteric tip with the tropical electronica of “New Colour”, in its sunshine chimes. By the time we get to “Lying In The Reeds” we’re up to a house tempo that harks back to the softer side of early Detroit. It’s when “Crystal Caverns 1991” starts up that we reach the most blatant distillation of old-skool; kicking off a breakstep beat with sweet but punchy 90s synths, the track cuts into a deadly rave motif without so much as a pause in the beat and it’s like being back in, er, 1991. Every track reeks of originality, whether it be the surprising track structures, the superbly detailed production, even the evocative imagery that the music conjures up.

This is the second Lockertmatik release. Another small DIY release in a small run with advanced acid techno tracks with a sharp edge. Challenging and fresh release for true school Acid House jackers.

Jonny Dillon is gracing WR with a brand new full length album as Automatic Tasty! “Speech and Silence” is a 10 track album loaded with bouncy acid hooks and bubbling hyper-color melodies.

Alan Oldham aka Detroitrocketscience shares a retro-sounding Neo-Detroit split with Kuba Sojka. Oldham’s two tracks trek across trippy, metallic harmonics on ‘Curved Space’ and proper, swinging hi-tek funk calculations on ‘Black Math’. Sojka meanwhile offers the acid-licked and uptempo 313 romance of ‘Low Gravity’ and ‘Black Hole’s plush Techno soul.

Acid Test’s first double pack is a mini album of deep melancholic acid tracks from the Berlin producer Recondite. Includes a remix from Tin Man as well as a remix from Scuba.

Effective dub inspired house/techno tracks by this Analogue Solutions off spring by Eduardo De La Calle.

News first surfaced over a year ago of Move D collaborating with Juju & Jordash on an analogue heavy live project entitled Magic Mountain High with the added promise of Workshop released material to follow. Several illuminating festival appearances and many months later and the Workshop label finally present The Schnitzel Box Vol 1, with three untitled productions from the trio that ensure the wait was worth it. Granted the freedom of the A Side, the opening track is allowed the time and space to incorporate both brooding analogue drone and sprawling key laden melodic glisten. Flip over and “Untitled 2” is quicker off the blocks, swiftly settling into a fizzing house jam rich in warm colour and tone and driven by crisp Roland rhythms, whilst the final arrangement is surely the most eminently danceable with yet more warm analogue patterns and Hitchcockian synth drones worming their way around a skipping techno beat.

Gareth Clarke delivers his long awaited sophomore release, underlining his reputation as one of the brightest lights and best-kept secrets in electronic music today. Oozing elegance and sensory richness throughout; subtle, playful and visceral often in the same moment, somehow. GC has elicited the perfect pleasure amalgam for body and brain.

Accroupi Recordz is proud to announce the release of its 10th EP ! Free internet download, as usual. The duo HTTP takes care of it, with 4 tracks, going from 110 to 150 bpm.

Free digital release on San Francisco’s Non Seq Records. It’s the first volume in the “John McCainn & The Cybernetic Chamber” series featuring two tracks. “Zsa” is a peak time acid-and-909 love-fest lacing together late 80’s Belgium New Beat with modern Berghain-friendly rhythm kits. “Shawty Rock” finds itself more comfortable on the 4am floor, with a broken kick driving rave breaks under an atmosphere of airy synths, reverb-laden piano and croons from The-Dream.

With catalog number 006 another techno legend joins the Killekill family. Neil Landstrumm has delivered a handful of tracks which combine his typical dirty techno sound with the aesthetics of UK Bass. Extremely funky and with a big drop of acid they cross over electro, techno and even hip hop and therewith fit perfectly to the sound of our label. The co-production of weirdo mastermind Si Begg on ”Touch it” just adds the icing on the cake.

Mark Forshaw makes his debut on Council House Recordings. Mark is a fellow hardware freak with an impressive collection of vintage analog synths and dusty drum machines. It is these old, gritty machines that give Mark’s productions their sound. The release includes two originals by Mark and remixes by Martin De Brig and Liliths’ Dusky.

Remixes of the track ”Skill Shot”, which is included on the ”20 – Two Decades Of Hardfloor” album and originally released on the album ”All Targets Down” from 1998. Remixes by Versalife and Pip Williams.
