Eternal is the new VA series that celebrates the 10th anniversary of Attic Music label and the city where it was born: Rome. The first episode of the series is signed by Insolate, Abstract Division, Claudio PRC and Allen.
Boston 168 are back on Attic Music with a 4-track spanning release named ”Khidi Rever”. Again, the Italian duo delivers a well balanced release that cleverly touches different sides of modern day Techno music. From the slow paced chug ”Khidi Rever” to the emotive tones of ”Blu Bridge”, the A-side already showcases the duo’s versatile pallette. On the B-side we find an acidic growler named ”J The Master” which is heavy arms material for the festival season. Label owner ”Fabrizio Lapiana” offers a haunting remix of ”Khidi Rever” to close down the record.
The fourth LAQ is proudly made by Attic’s owner Fabrizio Lapiana. His melodic techno taste is employed into each track moving from hypnotic hard strings of the ”Cold In Summer” to the sour and acidic groove of ”Acid Smiles” (both on the first side). In the b-side Fabrizio goes into more hypnotic and obsessive sound. A sort of progressive-techno vibes served to people who never-stop dancing.
Attic Laqs series continues with the owner of Gravite Records Bruno Sacco. His work starts with some grainy-noisey grooves in a danceable rhythm and pressurized synths. In the b-side Sacco turns into a nine minutes deep techno track ‘Imaginaria’. A dark corridor where different shades of pads get a conversation with an acidic chord in a lighted nocturnal way.
The third installment of Attic Music Hurricane Series. Here Fabrizio Lapiana returns with three melodic techno cuts, a mix of dark and calm vibes on the b-side, where a vibrant chord defines a melancholic atmosphere in “Leading Nowhere”. A corrosive bass line snakes the ground in the ambient-techno’s “Water Smoke”, a track that express the hypnotic and peaceful concept behind the series.
Isabel, the first of a new Attic series dedicated to hurricanes, is the latest EP signed by Fabrizio Lapiana on his own label and including remixes from Reeko and Max_M. Lapiana delivers two tracks with mighty and warm bassdrum, hihats and evolving percussions everywhere focused on diffuse electric click and vivid minimalism. The Pole Group artist shapes “Dfract” into a more bodily and harder structure while the M_Rec boss takes the same track and makes its own atmospheric and ultra-rhythmic style.
Attic music is glad to present to you “Your Transparent Eyes” a new release by Donato Dozzy and DJ Say.
