VA – WorldWideWindow [ENISSLAB]

In light of the current Covid-19 Pandemic Studio Enisslab headed up by Italian DJ / Producer and Live Act Neel has announced the release of a very special 56 track charity compilation project, fundraising for The Red Cross, who are working extremely hard alongside health services internationally that are feeling the effects of the corona-virus outbreak the most right now. The compilation is available for a limited time via Bandcamp and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Red Cross to help the world’s most affected countries in the Covid-19 pandemic.

This special release features over 6 hours of previously unreleased and unheard material, where an all star cast of artists were encouraged to share music that reflects this time we are living in.

Neel, who is one half of live duo Voices From The Lake, and LF58 speaks out on behalf of the initiative, organised in collaboration with improvised live project Circle Of Live, and visual art collective Sbagliato. He explains:

“In this situation we all need to look after each other and this project is a start. I wanted to reach as many people as possible to spread this message, so I started to share the idea personally with lots of artists and the response was amazing. I wanted them to take their time with whichever tools they had available at home to produce some music that reflects this time we are living in, a contribution for this special project and to portray a special message.”

The project’s cover art image brought to you by visual art collective Sbagliato shows pictures of windows of houses and studios taken by the artists themselves: 56 musicians, 56 windows, 56 tracks shape a new place of sharing.

Boston 168 – Khidi Raver [ATTIC016]

Boston 168 are back on Attic Music with a 4-track spanning release named ”Khidi Rever”. Again, the Italian duo delivers a well balanced release that cleverly touches different sides of modern day Techno music. From the slow paced chug ”Khidi Rever” to the emotive tones of ”Blu Bridge”, the A-side already showcases the duo’s versatile pallette. On the B-side we find an acidic growler named ”J The Master” which is heavy arms material for the festival season. Label owner ”Fabrizio Lapiana” offers a haunting remix of ”Khidi Rever” to close down the record.

Fabrizio Lapiana – Laq 04 [ATTICL004]

The fourth LAQ is proudly made by Attic’s owner Fabrizio Lapiana. His melodic techno taste is employed into each track moving from hypnotic hard strings of the ”Cold In Summer” to the sour and acidic groove of ”Acid Smiles” (both on the first side). In the b-side Fabrizio goes into more hypnotic and obsessive sound. A sort of progressive-techno vibes served to people who never-stop dancing.

Out Electronic Recordings introduces the second installment of Different Seasons various artists series. As the first volume, the record embraces melodic techno tracks and introduces new and old faces to the roster. On A side Attic Music boss Fabrizio Lapiana appears on Out-ER again offering ‘Square’, then the experienced DJ Luciano Esse offers ‘The Call’ following to his very first ‘The Green EP’ released on the Italian label back in 2012. Flipping the record over on B side and LaChriz’ comeback on Out-ER sees the debut of his moniker ‘Farron’ with the ethereal cut ‘Travelling Through Your Mind’ – while the newest artist on board Hydergine provides a dub techno journey opting for a swinging, fresh piece typical of his production imprint.

Fabrizio Lapiana – Maysak [ATTIC009]

The third installment of Attic Music Hurricane Series. Here Fabrizio Lapiana returns with three melodic techno cuts, a mix of dark and calm vibes on the b-side, where a vibrant chord defines a melancholic atmosphere in “Leading Nowhere”. A corrosive bass line snakes the ground in the ambient-techno’s “Water Smoke”, a track that express the hypnotic and peaceful concept behind the series.

Fabrizio Lapiana – Isabel [ATTIC007]

Isabel, the first of a new Attic series dedicated to hurricanes, is the latest EP signed by Fabrizio Lapiana on his own label and including remixes from Reeko and Max_M. Lapiana delivers two tracks with mighty and warm bassdrum, hihats and evolving percussions everywhere focused on diffuse electric click and vivid minimalism. The Pole Group artist shapes “Dfract” into a more bodily and harder structure while the M_Rec boss takes the same track and makes its own atmospheric and ultra-rhythmic style.

Max_M / Fabrizio Lapiana – 1001 [M_RECLTD1001]

Driven by the inherently political nature of techno, M_Rec Ltd. launches a new series of 10” vinyl editions aimed exclusively at showcasing quality techno tracks. As straightforward black label 10” records, with the tracks info etched on vinyl, these releases offer Max_M and his label the opportunity to quickly distribute new exciting productions to dedicated djs and vinyl lovers. On this very first release, label owner Max_M and Attic Music founder Fabrizio Lapiana explore the dark corners of techno with two hypnotic cuts. Stirring away from the techno-tool formula, these tracks are fully formed narratives, journeys that seem to pay tribute to the vinyl format itself, meant to be played in their entirety.
