Tensnake – Coma Cat [PERMVAC049]

Tensnake with his first full Ep for Permanent Vacation, and what a better this 12 inch is: The title track “Coma Cat” already caused mayhems on dancefloors from Berlin to Sydney. “Get It Rtght” and “Need Your Lovin” are equally good and show the full spectrum of the Tensnake universe between boogie, house and disco.
Mark Du Mosch – Cold Sweat EP [CD006]

Rotterdam’s legendary disco-house producer Mark Du Mosch presents his debut release for Cyber Dance Records in the shape of the Cold Sweat EP. Consisting of five outstanding tracks that take us from the near-italo disco bliss of Now Or Never to the classic Dutch lo-fi electro sounds of Revenger, on to the searing intensity of The System and the title track then rounded off beautifully with the deep chi-house vibes of Satical, this is not an EP to be missed. Already getting rotation plays on Intergalactic FM and called by Moustache label impresario David Vunk “one of the best techno records of the year”, we can’t speak highly enough of this totally rocking record.
Rondenion – Dark Adaption EP [RH-R2]

Dark Adaption is Rondenion’s second EP for Rush Hour and we are pleased to have him back! The freestyle disco cut-up ‘Sun Glare’ nicely sets the mood here and is a must have for Detroit house lovers. “Blue Canal” shows a deeper side of Rondenion; a bluesy, mid tempo groove that sticks. The title track gives way to, well, Rondenion’s darker side.. A hypnotic and mean cut that really builds, reminds us Theo Parrish’s rawer tracks.
Juju & Jordash – Made Like a Tree Podcast 17
Motor City Drum Ensemble – XLR8R Podcast 119
Jason Fine – FACT Mix 115
Skatebard – Totally Freakin’ Awesome Mix 11.2009

This is a 100% vinyl mix of some nice and slow jamz-some old originals, some new edits, and even some pretty new tracks. You can order it on CD with proper uncompressed sound from perdein (at) gmail.com. Enjoy!
VA – E11 [PN11]

Trus’me’s Prime Numbers label may only have notched a handful of releases in 2009, but counting Linkwood’s System and Trus’me’s own In The Red albums among them, it was a successful year for the Mancunian independent. Barely into the new year and Prime Numbers 11 hits us with three further reasons to count the imprint as one of the most exciting purveyors of house music around right now.
Tiger & Woods – Caddy Shag [TAIN2]

The puzzling duo like Tiger & Woods is back. Shrouded in mystery! Again! No one knows where its coming from, no one knows where its going. Special Extended Disco Versions carefully tuned, remixed, over-dubbed, cut and sliced, housed-up and boggied-down – including a run-out-tool.

Soft Rocks – In The House [SRITH001]

Soft Rocks finish their very productive year in the studio with 2 raw analog DJ friendly house cuts… “March Of The Dark And Light Brigade” is a rough acidic cut that builds, drops and builds again whilst “Tutsis Dance” is a slice of funky craziness with an old school house bass line that gets deep half way through and peaks with some sublime strings.
Bas roR – Fixed Purpose [LEAK002]

Fostered by the hungry eclecticism of The I-F’s legendary Cybernetic Broadcasting System and the music communities that have gathered in its wake, Bas roR has been DJing around Rotterdam for some time (in clubs and on the radio) and has already notched a memorable EP with Kubra’s “Control Issues,” a collaboration with DJ Tim for Arne Weinberg’s AW Recordings. Like much of the Kubra record, Bas roR’s solo debut recalls the deep and the weird of 90’s techno. The brushed percussion, bright melodic squiggles and brooding chord patterns of the title track, for example, are pure zero-gravity, practically describing a slow drift through a meteor shower.
Ajello – Hot July [MD004]

For the fourth release on Maxi Discs our Italian friends Ajello jump on board and deliver a red hot slice of feel good House music. Hot July reminds you just how important the piano driven Italian sound was in the development of House. Fusing disco elements with Italo influences, Ajello producers Luca Roccatagliati and Fabrizio Tavernelli have produced a dancefloor bomb that has been ripping up dancefloors worldwide. This is just irresistable dance music! On remix duties, label owner Pete Herbert strips the track down further, chunks it up with a killer bassline and adds a more UK House feel to it, which brings to mind seminal 90s house tracks like ‘Symphonic Tonic’. It’s a 100% dance floor groove. And finally, producer of the moment Marius drops a mighty version that blends his love of Euro and Italo sounds perfectly with a heavy NY House influence.
Nick Chacona – Be Like Olive [MOODXXX]

A taster from the Nick Chacona´s forthcoming album we represent a strictly limited vinyl sampler from the first singles “Be Like Olive” in a fearsome Levon Vincent rework and “Fear” featuring the altogether lovely Ms Kathy Diamond in a Beg To Differ Remix from Roy Dank (of Wurst fame) and Nick himself.

Flashnap – Suludada [BEYOND003]

Newcomer Ingo Thomas provides the next installment on Beyond with three very unique, raw and individual tracks on vinyl. The off kilter, deep and detroit inspired ‚Suludada‘ charms and chimes its way down a dusty, richly textured path as the meandering synth themes intertwine and grow throughout 8 and half minutes. Painting a mysterious picture of late night abandon, echoes of dark moody club atmospheres and super deep vibes a plenty, its a really stand out track… and the quality doesn‘t let off here! ‚Sweep‘ is another suitably textural offering that lays down tense atmospheric chords and uplifting synth themes from the very start. Reminding us of some of the very best deep techno from over the decades, thrown into one giant melting pot of quality, inventive production, it makes us wonder if our man Ingo just might be a future electronic music figurehead in the making! Closing the record we find ‚Hum Reprise‘, whose dubby stabs, tricky arrangement and bad ass reduction all contribute to another wonderful track. Certainly intended to play loud, this outstanding piece of other worldly electronic entertainment is yet another reason to remember the name Flashnap.
Jacob Korn – I Like The Sun [RB017]

Jacob Korn comes with a epic house track with a nice euphoric feeling and a deeper introvert techno track that reminds a bit of Duplex. Prins Thomas is on remix duty and added some live flavored drum sounds and a disco-ish bass… and hear.. another nu-disco stomper!
