Modern Love’s 7” series returns with a 45 special from Chicago’s Sun God, delivering a pair of chrome-burn acid jak and cosmic house tear-outs fired to spangle the dance. Screwed, exceptional music for the club.

Swirling acid madness from the ever brilliant mind of Ridgewood, Queens’ Maxime Robillard, Love Letters’ “Falling Star EP” — the latest record on Interdimensional Transmissions — crawls inside your brain and takes many shapes as it brings you to ecstatic experiences on the dance floor. The B side contains 2 remixes by No Way Back resident Mike Servito and by IT founder BMG.

The Slovenian label Cogo is back for another unmissable 4-tracker vinyl compilation with the heaviest hitters in the scene who represent the most artistically driven hypnotic techno to date. Jeroen Search, Border One, ORBE, and Tonske all lend a hand to provide an understated and deep vibe to this release full of music actively attempting to remove your mind to otherworldly places hitherto unknown.

Deluka comes back on his own imprint with four tracks marked out of his signature. A well complex that range tribal sounds and hypnotic vibes.

Tom Carruthers joins Craigie Knowes. Tom’s commitment to the ruff n’ ready sound of dance music’s formative years is unshaken on the De-Facto EP, bundled with the same synths, drum machines, samplers and FX used in the by-gone golden era of the UK acid, breaks and hardcore scenes. Soul is found in disorder, not in a world that places false hope in perfectionism.

Steven Tang is back with a 4-track single as Obsolete Music Technology entitled, Loops From The Habitus.

Feal Colony presents Machinete, a collaborative project by Italians Marco Segato and TLXCO. All tracks were recorded in 2017-2018.

Claudio PRC is something of a techno legend who has already very much assured his own legacy, but he keeps on coming up with the goods each and every time he steps out. This time that is on the Warm Up label with a stylish and deep EP of classy techno. ‘Elliptic’ is a sparse and dubby roller with icy pads, ‘Focal Zone’ then picks up with a more busy percussive line that pans about the mix and comes in and out of focus over rolling beats. ‘Axial’ is another delightfully deft deep techno cut with only there most scant and wispy synths joining the rolling beats. An Oscar Mulero remix rounds out with more intensity.

The 9th release on Nocturbulous Records. Mascarpone explores the darkest side of Electro, experimenting analog sounds just like in a scientist lab in the 1960’s. Features remixes by Arpatronic and CT Kidobó.

The Curtis Electronix saga follows up with new material from its head and curator CEM3340. Despite keeping its roots firmly into the deepest depths of electro, Future Tribe EP moves slightly away from his usual purism and across the four tracks manages to strike a careful balance between beauty and austerity, harmonizing elegance and restraint with the booming energy of techno and funk.

Pioneering electronic artist Legowelt delivers a sonic masterpiece with his latest EP, “The Sad Life of an Instagram DJ”, released on Barcelona’s imprint Selvamancer. This 5-track release offers a captivating glimpse into how Legowelt’s ideal rave would sound, blending techno, acid, and electro elements into an immersive and fun sound journey full of trippy bangers. Each track on the EP is meticulously crafted to evoke euphoria, showcasing Legowelt’s unparalleled creativity. Like a tear rolling down a cheek in a moment of nostalgic introspection, only to spiral towards the dancefloor. The moment the tear hits the floor, together with the heavy kicks and smooth synth action, it launches your mind back into the ongoing rave.

Recall IV is the project created by Andre Fischer that reached a massive success in the German techno scene in 1990 with the release of the single “Contrast” on Techno Drome International / ZYX Records. This was shortly followed by two more releases in 1991 (“Contrast – Part 2” and the extended play “Aesthetic”) and contributions to various compilations. Andre has been a very active techno composer and producer since the late 80’s working with people like Lars Janzik, Carlos Perón, Giora Schein & Holger Wick (Konzept), Volker Then (Friends Of Carlotta) on countless projects including Scope, Scrot, Technoline, Trust in 6, ADSX, etc. “Interstate” compiles tracks from all Recall IV singles, some old compilations and a selection of unreleased cuts and remixes.

Machine Alliance, the new EP by Irish producer Kerrie Anderson on Tresor Records, connects her music to the sci-fi origins of techno and electronic music in general. With inspiration from classic books and films of the genre such as The Machine Stops, The Matrix, and Blade Runner as well as modern explorations in art and philosophy like Free Your Mind and Technopoly, the EP’s title takes on two opposing but intersecting meanings.

Neel lands on Interdimensional Transmissions with the “Disco Quarantine” EP. Exploring the boundaries between genres, simultaneously pure deep techno and disco — this is rarely achieved — he continues to explore the edges with the ever propulsive title cut, and further connections with each song. Psychedelic, propulsive, subtle, perfectly produced gems ranging from hedonistic underground moments where time ceases to exist to moments of exploration throughout the cosmos. It feels like the B side opener Deep Quarantine was composed for the environment at No Way Back, though it is equally eternal and available to any floor anywhere in the world.
