Makuto returns to his home base Arketip Discs with three Detroit inspired outer space acid techno original trips alongside Truncate’s massive bullet.

Originally released as a box set and now available as individual records. The label has become synonymous with quality and consistency with a wide range of timeless sounds from Techno, House, Dub Techno, Electro, championing some of the most respected names in the scene and pushing the youth and putting this same youth at the very top of the chain, the label philosophy keeps rotating on a different level of orbits trying to reach always the best result and never be influenced by anything in the scene. This EP includes tracks by Shlømo, Subjected, Truncate and Dead Fader.

Truncate arrives on Token. David Flores’ raw, jacking sound refines the best bits of modern production whilst staying true to the core proponents of the Techno genre. His upcoming appearance on the label shows him in great form, channelling classic sounds in an elegant, reduced fashion.

Truncate (aka David Flores) returns to James Ruskin’s Blueprint with a new 3-track EP. Truncate continues to shape his evolving sound that he launched in 2011, from the tribal energy of ‘The Bell’, via the piquant twang of ‘Initials’, to the deep sensibilities of ‘Timbre’.

Fierce grooving rhythm tracks by Truncate. 4 jack trax including a stripped down remix from Jimmy Edgar.

The A-side gets remix treatments by Ambivalent and Silent Servant as well as an extended version of the original. Ambivalent takes a more jackin approach while Silent Servant brings his EBM & Wave informed techno mixes.

The Motech label has been building a high reputation of late but it’s actually been three years since co-owner, Detroit’s DJ 3000 (Franki Juncaj) released a 12inch of his own. Putting that to rights, he delivers ‘Take Me Away’ and featured is a deadly remix by Truncate.

Ambivalent adapts the raw hardware strategies of his LA-4A alias into peak-time analog techno. Truncate is on remix duty and delivers one of his power techno productions to top the release off.

Kink’s first ever release on the Pets Recordings label. It finds the Bulgarian live specialist and techno innovator serving up a fantastic new cut and comes with a remix from raw American talent Truncate. Comes with 10 vinyl-only locked grooves.

Truncate is at it once again on his home turf, demonstrating something of a pinnacle for the US approach to stripped and raw techno. “Track 1” slaps out the handclaps with gusto, but the synths that bubble in the background keep a certain dubwise calm to proceedings even with all the energy fed into the drums. “Track 2” takes a more dense approach, working in more intense flurries of percussion and keeping the synth elements finely chiselled and nervous, before “Track 3” brings a more playful side to the fore thanks to a hooky melody.

Truncate present the first remix EP, featuring 4 remixes by Ben Sims, Mark Broom and Truncate.

Mote-Evolver’s ever successful Parallel Series is now on to its fourth installment, this time with two West Coast producers – Developer and Truncate – going head to head. Pairing of the two is uncanny in many ways given their close friendship and the geographical base they share, and appears to be the perfect choice to highlight the difference between their sound and style to realize the concept of Parallel Series: contrast & compliment.

The 9th release in the Truncate series featuring some solid warehouse techno tracks. This time from labelboss Truncate and Luis Flores.

New release by Spanish techno master Oscar Mulero with support on the remixes from the Modularz regular Truncate and the German techno minimalist Sleeparchive. Mulero’s originals leave a long lasting impression and show a great example of his remarkable adaptability of staying current with the most cutting edge sound of techno over the decades. Both remixes truly show the remixers behind infusing their unique sound while create an entity of its own.

“Modify” is rawest bleep techno that revels in a dry beat, a repeating melodic phrase and an undulating vocal hook, devastating in its simplicity. “10th” however opts for a dub techno approach, letting a plush chord pulse in and out of the action while the beat remains a muted but driving kind of techno. “30” ends on a curiously tropical note, working an exotic flavour into the rolling construction through some crafty handling of hand claps, rounding off a sterling EP.

ETG004 the ‘Klona Ep’ introduces new Argentinean talent Alexander D’niel to EarToGround Records with his first EP. The original tracks ‘Klona’ and ‘Tetroid’ both come with different vibes. One dark and atmospheric using classic
Techno elements the other more chord based with a brighter tone. Stepping up for remix duty we call upon Californian
based Techno producer ‘Truncate’ and rising UK talent ‘Tom Dicicco’. These outstanding remix and original tracks are
getting serious attention and questionably could be called some of their best work to date.

With his Modularz label becoming a firm bastion of unfiltered techno machinations, Developer sets about bombarding our senses with his productions and curations across two vinyl releases this month. For the first part, his own “Heated” rattles through an industrial landscape devoid of colour, instead populated by reverb decays and distant clangs of metal. The rest of the record is handed over to Truncate, whose “Diffraction” flips the script with a central melodic hook and a thoroughly austere beat. Jonas Kopp’s remix beefs up that same theme by doubling up the phrase and edging towards a peak time monster, while Markus Suckut takes things deeper and into a more house compatible realm.

New release from Modularz by Developer with a solid remix from Truncate aka Audio Injection and two more cuts on the flip from Developer.

Truncate, Silent Servant, Santiago Salazar and Developer with four rocking techno tracks on the American techno label Modularz.
