VA – Robot Connection #001 [EMCV016]
On the 16th vinyl release from ELECTRO MUSIC COALITION, Robot Connection #001, an international lineup of producers comes together: the owner of the Orbital Mechanics record label, Maltese artist Sound Synthesis; the Belgian composer Arsonist Recorder, known for running ZwaarteKracht Records; and two members of the EMC label team, Neonicle and sin:it:sin.
Kafkactrl – Collider Complex EP [AP006]
Another Perspective is an electronic music label based in Seville, Spain, run by Rise Black. The sixth release on the label features three original electro tracks from French music producer Kafkactrl and three remixes from Alonzo, CT Kidobó and Larionov.
Techniques Berlin – The Extension of Machines [1985-1991] [MEC091]
Formed by high school buddies Andreas Gregor and David Rout, Techniques Berlin started in 1984 experimenting with synthesizers, drum machines and guitars. In the early stages, the band was heavily influenced by UK new romantic acts The Human League, Visage, Yazoo, OMD and Depeche Mode, as well as rising Canadian synth-pop bands Rational Youth, Men Without Hats and Trans-X. It took them a few years to master their electronic toys and create a unique blend of addictive electro-pop melodies and beautifully crafted alternative beats. “The Extension of Machines” compiles 13 extra rare and unreleased tracks from the vault.
Dada Pogrom – The Black Light Spectrum LP [HERTZ069]
After years of reluctance, finally a new album from Dada Pogrom. The Icelandic musician Kenneth Walter Balys has created a masterpiece of elaborated synth passages with wonderful pop melodies. His performances are few and far between, but in March 2024 he had already played some of the new songs in front of a full sold out house at the Kernkrach Festival. The audience was thrilled and demanded encores.
WLDV – The Fifth Element [MUT001]
The first release of Mutante Records comes from WLDV, the Spanish producer coming from Bilbao in the Basque Country. Navigating between genres such as New Beat, EBM, House and Techno with dark Spanish vocals to bring you a solid 4 track EP.

GǼG – Anarcho Disco Volume 1 [OM59]
Optimo Music unleashes Japan’s GǼG and their Anarcho Disco volumes 1 & 2 into the world. The project “GǼG” was started by Disko Klubb boss Monkey Timers, who leads Tokyo’s underground disco scene, and Keita Sano. Using a variety of sampling and unique FX, thier music has created a unique GǼG sound that is psychedelic and anarchic, dance music for the open-minded and genre-free crews. This here is the first volume.

As the world got even worse in the past ten years, Mujahideen’s songs from 2014 about greed, vengeance, culture slaves and the human factor are more relevant than ever in 2024, as it seems that the world is trapped in a vicious circle, which summons new dawn of Fascism. Therefore, Dead Language still sounds like a prophecy of wrath accompanied by a shivering crossover of post punk, dub and industrial, inspired by bands like Suicide, P.I.L, The Fall, Mark Stewart & The Maffia, Section 25, Psychic TV, The Young Gods and The Chameleons, which offers a captivating but desperate introspection into the abyss of humankind.

Roberto Auser – Data Desire Disorder [DDE08]
Data Desire Disorder is Roberto Auser’s upcoming EP on the Dalmata Daniel label, part of their lathe-cut series. This four-track EP showcases Auser’s deep engagement with analog sound, blending noir, industrial, minimal synth, dark wave, and electro influences. Created largely during the lockdown era, it features vintage hardware and modular synths, crafting a sound that is both raw and meticulously detailed. Data Desire Disorder continues Auser’s exploration into dark, atmospheric soundscapes, offering a blend of cinematic tension and rhythmic pulse.

JR Disc – Ep 2 [DBS#2]
Detroit Basics is back with more magnificent machine music. And once again it is JR Disc who is serving up the sounds. ‘Beautiful Blue Pillow’ kicks off and sounds like Kraftwerk making funk electro complete with vocoder vocals and silky grooves. ‘Mean Mugg’ is a more rough and ready deep house sounds with frazzled synths growing ever more prominent and last of all, ‘Under The Ground’ shuts down with some stomping drums and glistening melodic pixels that rain down the face for a futuristic feel.

Zenana – Witches [RHRSS37]
Originally released on seven-inch by the tiny PRM label in 1986, ‘Witches’ was the product of a sister-brother songwriting team whose music was mostly recorded in the front room of a terraced house in Nanpean, a small industrial village in Cornwall, England’s most south-westerly county. While the single was infectious, impeccably produced and dancefloor-ready, it sold in limited quantities at the time. It comes backed by a brand-new extended ‘spell of love’ courtesy of Bristol duo Bedmo Disco, AKA music journalist Matt Anniss and DJ/production partner Gareth Morgan.
Nu-Cleo – Metamorphose EP [CHIWAX031.1]
Bari-based producer Nu-Cleo AKA Michele Lamacchia returns to Chiwax, always bringing a tru-skool attitude to his vision of deep house where things can get crooked and nasty, but never at the expense of the groove. ‘Egotrip’ is a boxy, chirpy slice of acid house from the Marshall Jefferson playbook, while ‘Deep Code’ locks into a smouldering garage swing with some techy synths that wouldn’t sound out of place on Guidance. ‘Acid Excursions’ loosens up the nuts and bolts without derailing the soulful jack, and ‘Clouds’ is a heavy-lidded B2 joint to melt away to, stealing the show as the standout track of the whole EP.
