After a long hiatus the elusive LIES-BLK series returns, this time with a wild five tracker sliced and diced by Brasilian dj, Millos Kaiser. As with all LIES-BLK series these are one time pressing promo only affairs for use in the club. Total floor burners.

Influenced from bands such as Suicide, D.A.F and the early UK electronic scene, Absolute Body Control was formed in Belgium back in 1980, influencing and inventing genres ever since and achieving an underground cult following that strongly resists nowadays. After releasing a 7″, several tapes and contribute to many compilations worldwide, the band members went separate ways, with Dirk Ivens and Eric van Wonterghem finding success in other influential acts such as the Klinik, Dive, Block 57, S/HE, MOTOR!K, Sonar, Monolith and Insekt. After a very long break re-formed again and released “Lost & Found”, “Tapes 81-89” and “Wind[re]wind”, which contains newly recorded versions of their best tracks. Following these releases, they have returned in 2010 with the albums “Shattered Illusion” and “Mindless Intrusion”, a whole new set of classic tracks but featuring modern sound recording techniques. In 2016 “Forbidden Games” has been released, a selection of compilation tracks that points to the early roots of electronic pop and industrial. In 2020, 16 artists from around the globe pays this deserved tribute to one of the most influential minimal synth bands of all times.

AUX88 proves once again not only are they one of the best live bands in electronic music, but one of the genres funkiest groups in the world. The vocals are what set Aux88 apart from everyone else and the beat is dark, precise with thumping bass line.

Larionov & St. Theodore team up for their 3rd collaborative EP for Craigie Knowes. The ‘Thunderstrike EP’ spans their signature sounds with extensive use of the Roland SH-101, TR-808, thunderous claps and snares layered with melancholic synthesis. A robust EBM / Electro record built to electrify dancefloors.

From the mind of VernoN comes the first release of Eupasia, a label that tells the story of a mythic world built under the ground by some undead worms that have gained human characteristics. This first EP evokes gloomy and misty ambiences, followed by electro rhythms and rough basses, creating tension and resembling claustrophobia feelings.

Originally recorded to cassette, these five acidic tracks from Spanish-born producer and record store owner Dip Shim are a paean to his neighbourhood in Malmö, Sweden. The breadth of styles across the EP is impressive, taking in uplifting techno, mid-tempo electro, banging acid, and ambient, all created with classic analogue machines, suffused throughout with that warm tape sound and sweet sweet 303.

Mixing Engineer, DJ and producer Yossi Amoyal is the man behind Sushitech Records. The label turned 15 years old in 2020 and to celebrate this milestone Yossi has compiled Fluere across four discs (plus an extended Part V – Fatum). The compilation shares some of his story through the records that inspired him and continue to do so.

Two little-known tracks of clean and clinical yet emotive, UK sounding Electro (even though they’re from Belgium).

The second release on Ondes HXCX brings together a selection of emerging, as well as more established artists from Romania. The tape presents a collage of all the tracks brought together via an array of sound-pieces which act as binding interludes.

Nous’klaer Audio presents the new concept album by Koraal. ‘La Casa del Volcán’ is a sonic trip that echoes the spectacular landscape of Lanzarote, going from moist caves to deserted planes of volcanic rock, from a secluded palmtree to a fertile oases. Intense, spacial atmospheres and reverberating drums combined with dark textures and dubby rhythms. All written and produced in chronological order in November 2019 by Oriol Riverola aka John Talabot, in a three-night session on the island.

After almost three decades of music making, he delivers a 5 track-EP fusing influences from techno, electro and ’90s IDM. Four of the tracks can be found in the vinyl edition, while the 5th is a Bandcamp digital exclusive. Listen now to Geistform’s multifaceted characteristic production style: from breakbeat informed dark percussion and his unique ‘radioactive’ riffs, to his very own Detroit techno drive, dressed in rhythmic noise aesthetics. PI10.5 is a slower burner with emphasis in the chaos brought by its distorted baseline themes – to be found only on the Pi Electronics Bandcamp page.

The Uncanny Valley crew presents a new bright chapter of the Polish-German friendship which resulted in Chino’s Autostrada. The musician, graphic wizard and all around good guy from Krakow carved four raw and gloomy soul anthems out of his machines to create a record that features a wide range of music which is still connected by a common feeling. ‘Autostrada ‘ isn’t just a hard-rocking Electro track in its own right but also an aural reminiscence to the long but fun hours Chino spent on Autobahnen or Autostradas to drive to gigs, for instance at Uncanny Valley’s home base Dresden. With ‘Dyscyplina’, he turns to a wave/EBM approach. The result is a track that encourages anything but disciplined behaviour on the dance floor. ‘Carabo Cruise’ on the other hand is his take on Italo anthems, but with a special Chino-touch that is impossible to resist. Think of sunrises in industrial areas. Finally, we got ‘Alwernia’ which is heavily inspired by dark sci-fi movies. If Tarkowski met a bunch of 24-Hour-Party-Robots, this could be the soundtrack.

The MinimalRome “Urbi et Orbi” franchise debuts in 2006, juxtaposing Rome-based producers to others around the globe (“urbi et orbi” can be translated as “to the city and to the world”) featuring — in time, amongst others — Legowelt, Rude 66, Mick Wills, Andrea Benedetti, Ra-X, Polysick, The Exaltics. This fourth chapter delivers a vinyl EP compilation with monster electro tracks by Teslasonic, Plant43, Cosmic Force and Microthol, plus a couple of synthorama joints by Heinrich Dressel and Sonobe.

The horn of plenty arrives at your door, full of freshly harvested produce. It contains fruits of artists you already know and from others waiting to be introduced to you. Don’t be afraid though – they are only your new neighbors. Clear Memory Farms recommends this five track Various Artist EP: EDM-free, sustain-able, enriched with biodynamic electro spells and mystic funk chants. Have a try at this asymmetric game but don’t be surprised to turn into a hairy rebel.
