In Trance 95 – The Move [MW083]

Minimal Wave announces the forthcoming release from legendary Greek electronic pioneers In Trance 95. This special EP features six vintage tracks recorded between the late 80s and early 90s at Airdawn Studio in Athens. A vital piece of the Greek electronic music story, these songs showcase In Trance 95’s visionary approach to analog synth and early EBM sounds. Formed in Athens in 1988 by Alex Machairas and Nik Veliotis, In Trance 95 quickly became known for their stark, minimal synth sound, distinguished by hypnotic melodies, analog textures, and a futuristic edge. At a time when electronic music was still emerging in Greece, they were true innovators, blending the raw spirit of early EBM with a distinctly Mediterranean sense of space and atmosphere. Over the decades, their work has earned cult status among fans of underground electronic music worldwide.

Gina X – Greatest Fits [DE335]

Gina X makes her way to Dark Entries for Greatest Fits, a compilation of gems and jams from the eccentric New Wave icon. Gina X Performance was formed in Cologne in 1978 when art history student and chanteuse Gina Kikoine teamed up with synth wizard Zeus B. Held. Inspired by Patti Smith and Lou Reed, Kikoine aimed to create “the absolute union of music, poetry and travesty,” a lofty goal that she most certainly would achieve. 1979 saw the release of the classic first LP, Nice Mover, which put Held’s lush electronic production in dialogue with Gina X’s deadpan delivery. Songs explore androgyny, decadence, and avant-garde art in a fashion that is stylish, sexy, and more than a touch transgressive. Nice Mover quickly became a cult favorite thanks to tracks like the euphoric “Nice Mover” and the dancefloor bomb “No G.D.M.”, dedicated to queer icon Quentin Crisp. Three more LPs followed in the coming years: X-Traordinaire in 1980; Voyeur in 1981; and Yinglish in 1984. The duo continued their genre deviance throughout, exploring uptempo space disco on “Strip Tease,” punk-laced New Wave on “Babylon Generation,” and icy electro-pop on “French Lift.” Greatest Fits is the first-ever double LP compilation of Gina X material. The 17 tracks on Greatest Fits were selected by Kikoine and Held, reflecting the duo’s most cherished moments from their wide-ranging catalog.

B.W.H. – Stop 4 Remixes [HM1007]

”Stop” is the emblem of Italo-Disco par excellence even if in 1983 it was inserted by Carlo Favilli and Stefano Zito on the B-side of the 12”of the nascent label House of Music. However, the song, although recorded in a hurry and with evident sound defects, is the perfect example of the musical genre that was developing in Italy in those very early 80s. Now, four decades later, Stop 4 Remixes breathes new life into the cult classic with four dynamic reworks. Woody Bianchi delivers a masterclass in mixing with ‘Pushed Up’ while Danilo Braca (aka Danyb) offers two deep, expansive edits tailored for discerning dancefloors. Dirtyelements & Drunkdrivers bring the fire with their ‘Acid Re-Solution Remix’ that’s full of passion, precision and some nice wild energy. These are great tributes to a track that helped launch the Italo-disco movement into orbit.

Figi & Luca Dell’Orso – Mr. Computer [BAP223]

Mr. Computer sees two figureheads of Dutch electronics pay homage to the voice of electro disco, the vocoder. Figi and Luca dell’Orso team up to sing praise of a tool that has crossed genres and styles and give the little metal larynx deserved limelight on their own three track theatre. Rumbling bass is shot through with crisp snaps in the title piece, warbling vocals rising as keys dance in this wonderful collaboration.

Tjor – Multiflex [WE018D]

Brazilian artist Tjor returns to Wrong Era with his 5-track EP ‘Multiflex’. This release showcases his unique blend of brooding arrangements and hopeful, esoteric tones, highlighting his remarkable ability to continuously evolve sonically. Opening with a rich kick and harmonious pads, ‘Hyperdrive’ sets a robust tone and reinforces Tjor’s sonic charm. Swelling to an acidic echo of the purity of 1980s Chicago house, his innovative approach courses through the track.

Pye Corner Audio – Where Things Are Hollow: No Tomorrow LP [LPS41]

Electronic music visionary Pye Corner Audio, a master of blending nostalgia with forward-thinking production, has carved out a unique niche in the electronic music landscape. Drawing inspiration from 1970s and 80s synthesizer music, Detroit techno, and cinematic soundtracks, his work often evokes a sense of eerie futurism. Lapsus Records present “Where Things Are Hollow: No Tomorrow”, a comprehensive box set revisiting and expanding his acclaimed Where Things Are Hollow series. This release includes the first two volumes – with volume 2 featuring an unreleased track – and two additional chapters that further enrich the series’ narrative. Once again, Pye Corner Audio delivers innovative soundscapes, drawing inspiration from ambient techno, cinematic electronica, and experimental slow disco. The third installment unveils a constellation of entirely new tracks, weaving the ambient, synthwave, and retro-futuristic textures that define Jenkins’ work. Meanwhile, Where Things Are Hollow 4 amplifies this narrative, incorporating reinterpretations by some of today’s most visionary artists: Alessandro Cortini, John Talabot, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Lord Of The Isles and Surgeons Girl

Mystic Jungle – Sunset Breaker LP [PRD1026]

Mystic Jungle is back with a new album of free-spirited forays into solar-sonic fantasy. Dario di Pace’s third LP, ‘Sunset Breaker’, has been in gestation for a long while and reflects an arduous journey through studio closures and multiple recording locations. It also shows the stylistic variety that results when a set of songs develops over several years. Despite this difficult journey, Mystic Jungle has produced a rich and multi-colored display of sounds and styles, resulting in his most diverse and adventurous musical narrative thus far. Standout dance tracks like “Secrets” and “Some Lovin’” feature disco beats and body-moving grooves, with searing guitars, sultry saxophones, and layers of loved-up lyrics and call-and-response vocals that add to the magical motion. Meanwhile, “Innervision” and “Twilight” draw inspiration from lovers rock and neon new-wave dub pop, where yearning vocals, ecstatic pixie hooks, and liquid fuzz leads intertwine with fantasy synths and exotic string instruments from faraway lands. On sunbaked, stoner tracks like “The Road” and “Get Me Higher,” Mystic Jungle blends harmonizing passages of 60s psychedelia, radiant summer soul, and low-down zoner jamming.

The Zodiacs – Move & Dance To The New Beat [THANKYOU045]

This one-off Belgian New Beat project from The Zodiacs at first glance seems like standard fare from this time and place in dance music history – even with call to action, commanding listeners to ‘Move & Dance To The New Beat!’ that could well have earned a place at one of the slogans of the entire movement in an alternative universe where this record was a hit.  However, a hit it was not – what we have here is an obscure piece of music shrouded in mystery, previously released only on 7 inch, and its enigmatic nature only adds to eerie quality of the children’s voices throughout the record. This, alongside its higher tempo not usually associated with New Beat as a musical form, come together to bring forth a bizarre oddity of the genre that also has the potency of a modern, peak time weapon. Anatolian Weapons on remix duties takes the material and reduces the speed but increases the malevolence and is a testament to his skills as one of the great producers working today

Estado De Bienestar – La Escorpiona y Guataque Punk [OR141]

Estado De Bienestar is the new project by Nico Cabañas, co-founder of Ombra Festival and Oráculo Records. The project was born out of a personal transformation following the closure of his previous musical ventures, such as Synths Versus Me (last release: So Far, on 22 Recordings) and Almax und Forte (last release: “Nois d’Avui”, on Oráculo Records). The latter already hinted at the sonic direction Nico has taken: a “proto” style that is raw, visceral, and entirely analog. In Chapters 1 and 2 of Estado de Bienestar, you’ll find all kinds of twisted darkwave sounds – fused, reimagined, and reinvented. Subgenres intersect and musical boundaries dissolve. EBM blends with breakbeat, industrial goth with trip-hop, and industrial dub with jazz.

VA – Pride Or Die [DDC08]

“Pride Or Die is our next fundraiser compilation released in solidarity with Budapest Pride.

In March 2025 the Hungarian Parliament rewrote the country’s assembly law, tightening the rules for all public demonstrations — but with wording clearly aimed at shutting down Pride. The amendment threatens marchers and organisers with fines of up to €500 and lets police deploy facial‑recognition systems. It follows a 2020 ban on legal gender recognition and the 2021 law censoring LGBTQ+ content for minors.

Meanwhile, the government continues to target civil organisations more broadly, signalling an even darker outlook for the future of democratic rights and community spaces in Hungary.

To answer this attack on basic civil and queer rights, Dalmata Daniel teamed up with 34 artists from Hungary and across the globe to contribute exclusive tracks. The result is a diverse, powerful collection that channels solidarity, resistance, and care through sound.

All proceeds will be donated to the Budapest Pride Foundation (Szivárvány Misszió Alapítvány)
