Birth Of Frequency – The Spelling EP [POLEGROUP040]
Birth Of Frequency is back on Pole Group. Two original tracks of scientific and complex techno, plus two remixes by Oscar Mulero and Zadig. “The Spelling” is a multi-layered sequenced anthem made of countless synth sounds, a punchy kick and an hypnotic arrangement, for those heady moments on the dance floor. Paris techno founder Zadig remakes “The Spelling”. He adds hypnotising, devastating drum machines and makes the synth line grow and disappear wisely. “Gate” returns to medium tempos, fattens the sound and goes for a deeper discourse. A construction tool for clubby action. Oscar Mulero remakes “Gate” by twisting it completely, adding random step sequences and harmonies, giving the kick a secondary role, and focusing on the essence of the groove.
Birth Of Frequency / Mike Storm – Suburban Avenue 005 [SAV005]
Another split is on the way of the Suburban Avenue team. This is the turn of two young and talented producers coming from the new school, both nostalgic of the Techno of the origins: Birth of Frequency and Mike Storm. A side is entrusted to the refined hands of the French producer, A1 No Wonder” is a brilliant and direct techno track inspired by British school of the nineties. A2 The fugitive” is deeper and hypnotic. The precious B Side is made by the Dutch producer Mike Storm, both tracks B1 The one we know” and B2 Into Formation” are minimalistic and represent some old school spaced out Techno trips. Retro-Futuristic affairs continue.

Birth Of Frequency / 2030 – Construct Re-Form Invites CLFT [CRFSPLIT001]
CRFSPLIT is a new series, a collaboration between CRF and a guest label with two different artists. For the first release they choose CLFT, the French label based in Lyon. On the A side Birth of Frequency with two hypnotic and abstract tunes, with a dry and claustrophobic atmosphere. CLFT choose 2030 on the B side with Life’s Lake and Fallen-in, very Detroit influenced with light pads and melodies.

Windy City is a relentless acid loop, with straight and sharp rythm parts. The kind of track you can play for a very long time. Bad Tempered is a proper techno, hypnotic and powerful : perfect to maintain a tangible tension on the dancefloor. Huron will complete the destruction with a frantic and aggressive synth / hats duo. Newcomer, comes from the ground with a sticky and heavy atmosphere .
Birth Of Frequency – Remind EP [CRF004]
Construct Re-Form present a young Parisian artist : Birth of Frequency. On the A side, ‘Remind’ is serious Techno with heavy 909 drums and a repetitive and hypnotic synth, in the tradition of the purest minimalistic electronic music. On the B side, ‘Surround the silence’ offers a more deep feeling, between House and Techno, the perfect balance of those two generic styles. For the ending, Antigone give his own vision of “Surround the silence” with this brilliant remix, he tells us another part of the story with metalic and sharp sounds and a wintry atmosphere.
