BT33 drags back Marco Bernardi for his 3rd solo EP on brokntoys. Plat + Form P.F. finds Marco run ragged through time, revisiting his sleeper-project Octogen’s lost 3rd album alongside his latest productions. Cruising the dystopia, the EP moves through unnerving melodies hung against stuttering rhythms. Handstamped and with screenprinted sleeve.
The 5th entry on the Discos del Quebranto series continues to rake the kerbside muck of ‘club music’, presenting 2 disparate visions from 2 label heads. KUMP’s mastermind Gil.barte opens proceedings with the stuttering bodysludge of Guédé and Egareur. Two kleine nightmusiks to drag you out of meatspace, with the Kyuss-ala-PCP throb of Guédé especially sure to find favour on fog-bothering 8 AM+ floors worldwide. Tempos pick up and lights turn down on the B-side, with Lostsoundbytes (Vastechoses label head), driving disintegrating delays and snares into 3 Belgiqué-nouveau tools, keeping the rhythm & textures bumping throughout.
BT25 brings together label regulars Marco Bernardi, Vertical67 and Exhausted Modern alongside debutante Robert Valera.
For the first album on brokntoys, Rory McPike (Rings Around Saturn, Bleekman, 2200, Pickleman) puts the hammer down with a double pack of abstract and dancefloor excursions. Oozing style, the Melbourne producer showcases a singular talent over 11 tracks, bridging frazzled new wave & pulsating techno via claustrophobic electronics. Equally at home dragging bodies on to the floor (classy IDM-nodder ‘Automatic Memory’) as keeping them throbbing till sunrise (early-morning highlight ‘Pulp Tech’), BT30 deftly connects the varied threads laid out by McPike over his previous EPs for Forbidden Planet, Unthank & Analogue Attic.
Next on the Discos del Quebranto series, Sébastien Michel, best known as UVB, presents his Elements of Joy alias where the French producer explores post punk, industrial and wave influences across 4 rugged tracks. First released as a cassette on his own Body Theory label and now remastered for vinyl on a limited edition of 300 copies.
Co-founder of Endless Illusion, Exhausted Modern returns to brokntoys with a limited white label. Ampér shows the Czech producer running the gamut accross 6 tracks covering melodic acid, hypnotic slomo grooves and celestial electro.
Koova returns to Brokntoys for a second EP after his Empty Spaces . Conducere presents the producer showcasing his personal take on the genre, with 4 tracks of tense, melodic electro. The EP is backed up by a remix by Max Ravitz AKA Patricia who takes the originals into eerie, ghostly territory.
Brokntoys welcomes French producer Raphael Vendramini aka Automat. Known for his electro output on labels such as SCSI-AV, this 5-track EP showcases excerpts of his unique dark and atmospheric sound and includes the haunting ‘Dark Days’ previously released digitally on Parisian label Milles Feuilles.

On the A side, Dutch producer Identified Patient showcases his discombulated style, slow-motion burners stained in acid. Athens based producer Morah returns to brokntoys for a full solo EP to showcase his DIY ethos across 6 tracks of unrefined, sinister electro suitable for murky dancefloors.
Luxus Varta makes his debut on brokntoys with “Then We Fall”. The mysterious producer delivers 6 tracks of intricate, experimental, weirded out electro & electronica.
Brokntoys welcomes Marcel Caron for his debut on the label. Haunted Memory sees Caron shift through the gears from string ridden melancholy to aggressive broken acidic workouts all with an overhanging state of suspense.
Karl Lukas Pettersson has searched through his vaults of DAT tapes to create a personal album of lost projects, ideas and forgotten gems. The album includes a remastered version of Professor Laphroaigh originally included on his Dr Lindh – Sounds Interesting EP for SCSI-AV.
‘Lesser Mysteries’ brings together 5 up and coming acts to present a widescreen view on electro. Ben Cohen opens the EP with the atmospheric, hazy Entrance, Monotoxine uneases the ride with the squelchy, demented Positive Thinking. On the flip Tharsis Shelter Unit’s Start Transmission unfolds the B side with a sharp blow, before Stratowerx steps up with the impassioned Zero Hour Dispatch. Furious Frank closes the EP with the resonant Night Rider.

Power Plant Tales sets the scene with suspenseful driving rhythms and Theorem X rolls on through sweat-dripping grooves. BT19 welcomes XY0815 for his solo debut, where the Leipzig based producer showcases the range of his sounds – machine incantations halfway between understated electro and brooding electronica.
Brokntoys techno series detic continues with Crystal Maze. Gijs Poortman & Marco Spaventi form Crystal Maze, a sporadic project when they both get the time away from their busy solo projects. Here they present 4 tracks cutting between rolling techno, deep jacking grooves and beatless excursions.
BT08 brings back Obergman to brokntoys after his appearance on the Guests of Reality compilation. The Stockholm based producer showcases here his trademark sound, off-key driving excursions complemented by an icy beatless number.
