Three more killer tracks from Moodymann on the classics series.

Jacob Stoy and his very first solo EP for Uncanny Valley. Everything starts with Redensart, a sunny piece of music with a sneaky bassline and easy synth pads that come across like a warm rain shower.. Hauswart is an impressive example of how one can create a whole atmosphere of sound within two minutes. Start is maybe the most conventional Deep House track on the EP and seduces with catchy synth chords and thrilling drums. Finally Gegenwart brings things to a jazzy end with tipsy synths and tripping percussions.

New release on Syncrophone Recordings, Dj Qu delivering driving deep house tracks with that psychedelic twist only he can deliver.

Dj Kent aka The Backwoods on Jolly Jams with Breakthrough. On the flipside, for your extra dancing pleasure Dj Kaos take the song into new spacey places Chicago electrofunk excursions, with an hyponotic bassline and some killer synths.

True house music from Welcome Back to the Underground. Self Enemy aka Professor Inc & Kris Wadsworth play it slow here. Picking on some classic sample, highly tweaked synth and dj friendly structure. Second opus of this raw collaboration. Dj Aakmael picks another Billie’s song, This time it’s heavy orchestra chords on a hard kick singing the blues on the house core. On the B Side, the Seeker’s Band inspired by the first house school, jazz accents, afrocuban classic percussion. It comes with a remix by Tyree Cooper & Bobby Star aka Jack The Box. Dj friendly and deeply rooted with one of the pioneers perpetuating the style. To conclude this ep, a special short dub version by Cores For Spin.

Pluie/Noir is back with a two-track EP from the Romanian Vlad Caia. Swan Lake shows with finesse his staggering skills to craft cinematographic atmospheres in danceable patterns, bending musical styles and constantly reminding us that club music can be so much more. Both sides share the same classical-inspired background while still being quite different in mood and lightness. Striking at 14 minutes each, the progression on these tracks remain sophisticated and visionary, messing with your head and heart in unexpected ways. ‘Swan Lake’ is a delicate yet striking piece, with a precise yet unusual drum-programming and intelligent classical-music sampling. The flip-side ‘Eternal Sunshine’ is a darker toned track, with slight-flashes of acid in it’s core bass-line and ever-lifting tense chords that unexpectedly rumble between the intense atmosphere and lift both your body and soul.

Now keep your eyes and ears peeled for an original Hreno. Although it has been likened to an unmanned, deep space, probe droid. Or an unrelenting pony ride at a petting zoo. Experiencing this music is like standing on a rivers edge, or on a vast precipice. Either for the bathtub or a spring mounted dance-floor. Hreno has opened his vaults. Dive into a sonic experience, travel from Country to Country, forget boarders, feel your heart warm up, suddenly you are Completely New.

Plan B Recordings is back with a compilation featuring some brand new names to the label, including our first release by a Japanese artist (Takenawa) and an emerging producer from the Chicago area (Mauser). Things start off with the twisted funk of Area’s ‘It’s Just a Body.’ Following Area is the first Japanese artist to grace one of our vinyl projects. Takenawa’s ‘Jaisalmale’ is a lush techno groover that works in deep house sets as well. The flipside features Mauser. His uptempo creations feature tight drum programming, tinkling keys, and insistent energy. ‘Small Sounds on the Redline’ is his first vinyl release for Plan B Recordings. Closing out the B side and the compilation is G. Marcell. Pulling funky breaks from dusty crates, he puts them together into the soulful yet raw ‘Naphroblac.’

This Ep features tracks from three of the early days having united with my father over musical ideas. To clarify, my father, Rick Poppa Howard, always enjoys his own hand written vocals over my compositions which are written especially for him. Two of the remixes featured here have been previously released as Beautiful Granville Records’ classics, while track one, Keep Holdin’ On, is to see its first appearance here. We are both proud to be presenting this edition, and we are eagerly anticipating our next reunion… T.H.

Sven Weisemann keeps exploring the depths of dub on the 4th release of his vinyl-only Essays label.

SIT aka Sideways Invisibility Theory are back on Romania’s new Neural label. The duo have molded their own particular brand of minimalistic house, a glorious concoction of organic beats and glitched-out melodies. “Moai” boasts one of those irresistibly addictive basslines that pounces forth with elegance, moving progressively beneath the jumble of percussion sounding something like Villalobos in one of his more animated moods. “Mazuka” treads down more experimental paths, with the hi-hats making themselves clearly audible amid the woozing synth which drains in an out of the beat.

New release by Christopher Rau on Aim. Modern day deep house conductor with a new sure shot. Moody , smooth sounds over tight house beats.

Goldmin Music with the second release coming from Federico Pedron aka Fonos. Freshly made with analog synthesizers, grooveboxes which bring this awesome warmness & analog imperfection this 4 Tracker Vinyl perfectly illustrates Federico’s music.

Sliding on over to Hizou Deep Rooted, prime purveyor of all things deep and alluring Rick Wade might seem a little misleading with his new EP entitled Detroit Fury. As is evident from the man’s back catalogue, there’s not a lot that’s furious about the Wade sound and it’s here in abundance, with finely balanced drums, moody chords and that healthy dollop of disco velour to make sure everything moves properly. “Heavy” is a particular dream with its expertly wielded keys and lackadaisical tone, while the expressive bass line on “Gambit” will be inspiring ‘hurt-so-good’ faces everywhere.

Simoncino, with his alias Nick Anthony, takes on the second release for the Conservation Department series with a four track EP. The title track leads off and is followed by the killer groove on “Underwater Sunlight”. “Jamaica Girls” & “Lay It On The Line” on the flip bring more disco dance.

New release on Metrolux Music featuring 4 deep house tracks by Jitterbug, Markson, Naoki Shinohara and XDB.
