The first release from Erotek in 15 years, he joins the FTP family, along with DJ Nasty aka Detroit’s Filthiest. Other heat on this heavy electro comp is coming from artists from Frankfurt, Ukraine, and Texas.

Waste Editions new release is coming from Giallo Disco’s WLDV. It´s ‘Ritual of Six’ and this one is a gripping and mysterious album which is made up of six creepy and catchy tracks. Indeed, a brilliant work where bloodcurdling sounds, hypnotics atmospheres and thunderous analog arps can make you to look through the keyhole and see a little bit of hell gate.


Jenya Lavrinov is a young rising musician from Russia and LVRIN is the alias for the gloom side of his productions. All six tracks for this EP were made during last year under the red lights of Jenya’s home studio. As before LVRIN adheres to the one take method of recording as the best technique of dealing with the sound and with the moment. Setup for this EP in particular consisted of Akai MPC 1000, Yamaha AN200, Analogue Solutions TBX-303, MFB-Synth II, Polivoks and a couple of effects pedals.

Stallone The Reducer is back. He’s always late, but he’s back. Stallone takes you on a one way trip that will make your head rattle, clattle and clank. Indecipherable robot voices guide you, while the busted up drums and industrial strength synths push you back and forth. This one is for the brave.

French producer and RAAR co-founder Maelstrom makes his debut on CPU with ‘Alph4’, a seven track electro-leaning mini LP of one-take recordings. Maelstrom’s sound on Alph4 is comparable to Aphex Twin’s more restrained Analord output. Focussed, highly detailed production alongside an abundance of evocative synth melodies will ensure these tracks become firm favourites with forward thinking DJs and electronic music fans.

Straight up electrotechno from the Westcoast of Holland, name-dropping everybody and then some. Comes in the electro rap vocal version, instrumental and a jacking motor dub. All on the new label Den Haag.

M-Twelve is a new collaboration between Billy Nasty and Nick Dunton. Taking their name, M-Twelve, from the iconic Fred Perry T-shirt, the pair decided to combine forces based on a love of techno and electro, their strong friendship and many late night conversations in the back rooms of various nightclubs. The EP features their two original cuts of beautifully crafted emotional electro, the warm and glittering ‘All The Things’ and ‘Time Spent’ with it’s deep narrative and tough machine groove. In addition, remixes of ‘Time Spent’ come from Sync 24 (Scand / Cultivated Electronics) who delivers an energetically fuelled reworking and Electro veterans, Transparent Sound with a stripped and stomping acidic version.

Vakum returns with their first full EP including their first ever remix. ‘Silom’ EP is a diverse story signed by Disrupted Project, an artist they had the chance to present on their very first Vakum back in 2014. Now he’s back with full EP which is rounded with a remix from Toronto’s finest – Basic Soul Unit. The tracks are ranging from detroit influenced electro and chordy big room techno to breakbeat rave like drums and melodies.

Go! Finger returns to the vinyl grooves again! And this time showing a more dramatic and darkest side. Holland’s underground legends Das Ding and DJ Overdose, join forces, for the first time, to deliver “AM/PM”. A puzzling split release composed of two pairs of gloomy, sinister and hard to classify gems of the finest west coast electro. A delightful and state of the art chiaoscuro of today’s freshest dark electronics.

Berlin’s Mechatronica returns with another compilation of forward-thinking electro and acid sounds from Innershades, Norwell, DJ Nephil and Gestalt. The A-side packs a dose of merciless electro/acid for the floor by Innershades, followed by a dazzling, atmospheric electro journey by Norwell. The flip boasts a more gritty sound, as Russian producer Gestalt debuts on Mechatronica with the twisted ‘Mndfck’, and DJ Nephil’s slow-rolling monster ‘White Dwarf’ finishes off the record.

RotterHague is a new label dedicated to electro music in all it’s forms, this issue showcasing brothers from other mothers DJ Technician and DJ Overdose. Lot’s of E-mu SP1200 programming as this is for both of them the weapon of choice. Funky robotics to make the people shake is about as close as you can get to a description for the four tracks delivered on this E.P.

Following the release of the fantastic first Corporation Mindfuck 12″ last May, there’s been much online chatter about the identity of the producer or producers behind it. Regardless of the shadowy figure(s) behind the project, there’s much to recommend on Winds of Corruption, the second Corporation Mindfuck missive. Musically, it’s not only pleasingly spacey and out there, but also gritty, dusty and lo-fi, offering a thrilling mix of bustling dancefloor electro, melodious retro-futurist IDM, and stranger-than-fiction ambient interludes. In other words, it’s another must-have EP.

Brokntoys welcomes Marcel Caron for his debut on the label. Haunted Memory sees Caron shift through the gears from string ridden melancholy to aggressive broken acidic workouts all with an overhanging state of suspense.

Private Persons continue their path to world domination, picking up Jensen Interceptor & Assembler Code with a stomping, fuzz fueld electro tour de force.
