Steve Summers is back with his third ep, this time around for Greece’s Echovolt label. Summer’s continues to play with his main inspirations, the energy and grit of Hardy tape edits, melodies of Larry Heard, and deep bass tones of William S,. This four track ep manages to capture a feeling of experimentation and authenticity that’s often missing in modern dance music.

Jesus Loved You presents SIT, the new project from Romanians youngsters Vlad Caia and Cristi Cons. What really SIT represents for Vlad and Cristi is their fusion of characters under one definition. It’s a platform where two music people, with totally different background and skills in electronic music and not only, will experiment and discover the form and color that suits them best in the work they do.The idea is to focus on creating something dynamic and exploring new possibilities with every track while maintaining an original identity.

The title track is a mesmerizing house/techno hybrid of colorful darkness, reminiscent of classic early RIBN releases. Meandering synths and hypnotic sounds fragment and crawl around a stomping beat with the bass moving things forward irresistibly.

Gorgeously deep submerged Detroit house sounds from Fred P. The original is a late night ride in itself but as an added incentive Esperenza have enlisted the talents of Sistrum head honcho, Patrice Scott to add his signature sound to proceedings.

Ilija Rudman is an analogue and vinyl purist his productions are always to the highest standard and Electric Minds is pleased to be working with the Croatian producer once again. Ilija delivers two bumper tracks for the A side of this release, most definitely a nod to the 80’s boogie sound with both productions thumping with bass throughout. For the B side we welcome Michael J Collins.
