Nehuen – I Love Acid Eighteen [ILA018]

Making his debut on ‘I Love Acid’ is Argentinian-born, Barcelona resident Nehuen. Best known for co-running the Classicworks imprint with Cardopusher, the pair are also labelmates on Boys Noize, and have a similar approach of raw, machine funk – finding the sweet spot between acid, jacking techno and EBM. Heavy duty stuff for dark and sweaty dancefloors.

Neville Watson – I Love Acid Sixteen [ILA016]

UK techno & house veteran Neville Watson makes his I Love Acid debut, after headlining at their tenth anniversary party in London earlier this year. Mark Forshaw with remix duties. These tracks have been getting caned across the UK, Europe and the USA this summer by a list of DJs far too long to mention. This is the real deal, proper acid for the dancefloor.

Snuff Crew – I Love Acid Fifteen [ILA015]

A poignant and thoughtful EP from Berlin duo Snuff Crew, dedicated to their friend, collaborator and labelmate Andreas Gehm who passed away in summer 2016, just after his own I Love Acid release. Four analogue acid hardware tracks. Remix duty falls to fellow hardware aficionado Perseus Traxx.

Global Goon – ILA006 [ILA006]

Number six in the I Love Acid series. Rephlex legend Global Goon features with four wonky takes on acid. A-sides ‘Caramel Door’ & ‘The Botanist’ jitter in and out of slo-mo techno & electronica. On the flip, ‘Black Wheat’ ups the tempo with a bit of disco playfulness, while closer ‘Creamy Noogies’ gets its rave on with samples of Snap’s ‘The Power’ against a rampant 303 bassline.
