French duo Maelstrom & Louisahhh, make their debut on Discos Atonicos with an excellent 3 tracker of metallic and twisted textures, riding between the electro and darkwave, backed with the pulses of EBM. An absolute weapon that comes with a heavy remix delivered by Snare-Master Cardopusher.
LYO steps forward with the first volume of their compilation series « Driving Blind » supporting underground new talents and confirmed artists from all over the globe as well as including in-house producers of the label. Selected with care and love, it will bring you on an electronic journey pushing boundaries of style featuring only fresh new original music.
PAG Records presents their debut hard-hitting EP titled “Drama Queer”. Featuring an all-star lineup, Drama Queer is a 6 track compilation with the endless driving beats of EBM, industrial and techno that give a true glimpse into the feel of PAG’s sweatiest dance floors. This compilation features Alessandro Adriani, Silent Servant, Lokier, Cardopusher, PRZ and E-Bony.
Cardopusher kicks off Psyops Part Two with ‘Disobedience’ (feat. Lbeeze) a slow-motion drum workout that is like dark disco mangled through a psychedelic filter, with robotic vocals and stiff arp jerking your body. ‘Abyss Antidote’ is then a flurry of drum breaks and electro bass, frazzled synths and whipping hits that keep you on the edge of your seat. Darkness abounds on the gritty ‘Initial Decay’ (ft. Lbeeze), which layers up taught drums and hits with spraying synths that come from a dystopian planet. Closing out this epic mini-series is ‘Mutant Brain’, a cyborg techno meltdown with manic acid for company.
Veyl introduces a new series called ‘Still Life’ inspired by photographs by Tomaso Lisca. For the first edition we’re thrilled to welcome Jensen Interceptor, Cardopusher and Lokier for an electro-heavy A side, while Morah, Randstad and Empire State fathom the depths of the more leftfield side of the label on the flip.
The world is shocked by the current COVID-19 situation, especially our scene worldwide. We spent the past few months like this and who knows when it will be back to normal.
So we decided to join this struggle and release this 16-track fundraising compilation in collaboration with old and new producers, who belong to our label across Europe and Hungary. All of us worked and participated in order to support one of the last community spaces in Budapest, called Gólya. With purchasing the V/A, all income goes directly to this place. Gólya is really important in the Budapest scene with its several different community profiles. One of them is a venue, that they operate with a really open-minded attitude, fair deals and welcome various musical genres, like ours. They are still closed, so every kind of funds are a big help for them to survive these weird times.
If you’re currently lucky to be in a position to spare some funds, please consider making a charitable donation in your community to help fight the Covid-19 outbreak. Should you still have any additional good fortune left, we have put together an Aid EP, to help support the artists on our label, currently under financial pressure due to the massive amount of event and DJ gig cancellations – and to keep the lights on in our collective, which is heavily dependent on income from event production.
The Aid EP additionally enables us to provide a bit of work for our mastering engineer, also a DJ and producer, financially impacted by event cancellations. All sales will be split 50/50 between the artists and ourselves, after mastering costs have been recouped.
Stay healthy out there – and if you have the means, we encourage you to find ways to reach out and support those affected in your local communities.
Remixes by Crystal Geometry, Kontravoid, Accuracy, Cardopusher and Broken English Club for Schwefelgelb. Originals appear on the EPs “Dahinter das Gesicht” and “Aus den Falten”, both released on Aufnahme + Wiedergabe.
Dame-Music kicks off 2020 with a bang. For her first release of the decade, label head Bloody Mary has teamed up with Barcelona-based artist Cardopusher to deliver an EP full of hard-hitting, acidic EBM weapons. On the A-side sees the pair serve up the EP’s title track “Conformity Kills” – a high-energy original complete with a broken-beat alternative mix. On the flip side, the pair are joined for additional vocals by Lbeeze on “Out Of Control”. The package is rounded out with a heavy remix from EBM man of the moment, Sarin.
System 108 introduces its second vinyl record from resident Kovyazin D. The Belgian New Beat spirit, mystical Acid House and EBM, fat and metal basslines, punchy rhythms and jack percussions – all this perfectly reflects the content of the record and conveys the atmosphere of the second dance floor by System 108 events. Adding to this combination a remix from Cardopusher we get a guaranteed dancefloor killer release.
Cardopusher lands on Mechatronica’s White series with a violent mesh of EBM, electro, industrial, techno and unearthly ambience, impaled with sonic truths and programmed for mass feeding. A menacing antidote to these deceitful times.
Fifth in the Mutant City Acid series. Four more takes on acid from different angles. Cardopusher opens proceedings with machine-driven EBM acid, then Steven Simpson channels analogue classic Chicago house styles. On the flipside, Matt Whitehead brings the 90’s UK rave energy, while Jozef K closes the EP with deep, lush, melodic acid.
Nice uptempo club ready tracks, driven by vicious arpeggios and bit crushed drums.
