Martin Matiske – Eternal Reality [NN025]

French label Nocta Numerica clocks up a quarter of a century of releases with a suitably stylish electro trip from Martin Matiske. “Eternal Reality” is an electronic listening experience to the inner self while it was created in a state of deep consciousness. Unforgettable moments of beauty and peace.

Ali Renault – Stone Tape EP [NN024]

New releases have been a little sporadic from Ali Renault in recent times. The Cyber Dance and Vivod boss was last spotted out with a EP in 2021, but he’s back in full force with this outstanding EP on Nocta Numerica. Ali Renault conjures up some spellbinding atmospheres from his synths across the whole EP, proving his place at the forefront of stripped back synth gear for those who like it a little darker.

Teslasonic – Singularity [NN018]

TESLASONIC - Singularity

With strong ties to the MinimalRome label, former duo and now solo project of Gianluca Bertasi aka Teslasonic arrives on Nocta Numerica. Teslasonic here throws down a gauntlett of highly electrified club and acid tracks that touch on Electro as much as they do Techno and underground rave. With obscure melodies making it into tracks like “Obsex”, retroactive ’80s Synth themes make their way into “Nemesis” with more solid acid tracks coming from “The Game Is Out There” and “The Network”. Look to this EP’s title-track for something bright and shiny with “Arp Island” injecting a vision of hope and positivity into a genre that regularly plays on themes of decay and dystopia.

Glass Figure – Nowhere [NN006]

GLASS FIGURE - Nowhere

Nocta Numerica sixth instalment comes courtesy of French duo Glass Figure, putting on display six cuts that set old-school breaks and hectic electro grooves against an ebullient retro-futuristic backdrop. Vocoder blazing and synth arpeggios glancing off, the Drexciyan title-track – which you can now stream in full via our channels, whizzes at mega light speed like a space-traveling vessel flashes across fields of asteroids, in search for a new planet to colonise.
