“Ocean Acidification” is Zobol’s debut on Nocta Numerica. Excellent melodic electro.
For the 12th release on Welsh imprint Haŵs. Zobol and Reptant are clearly on the same mission: to breathe life into the humdrum and start the road to recovery on the dancefloor. ‘Diminishing Returns’ posits an answer to its first question: that innovating with what we have is the way to overcome monotony, as well as reassuring that the collective pulse is still very much warm.
This September Nocta Numerica will release its twentieth record. In the meantime, to mark the occasion and look back on the past six years, they released the compilation “Twenty Moons – Nocta Numerica In 20 Tracks”, 20 tracks that represent the identity of the label: 19 of them are from past Nocta Numerica releases and one is exclusively taken from Zobol’s upcoming EP.
The British artist Zobol is the protagonist of the 5th Noise To Meet You reference. An EP that aims to shed some light in these uncertain times through elegant melodic electro with a powerful emotional charge, along with those sharp percussions as the main distinguishing feature of this project.
Transitional State join the Pacific Command roster with a bumper five-track EP of lucid, woozy techno that segues between blown-out 909 romps and deep, percussive 808 workouts. One for the M25 field ravers back in ’93.
