Berlin, 2014 — Dj Nephil sparks the label. A few breaks, some chaos… but guess what? We’re still here.
To mark the decade we drop a 25-artist compilation — no genres, no borders, no bullshit. Just raw energy and noise tearing through the system.
This compilation is not just a release — it’s proof that the underground never dies. We do this for the music and for the love that keeps us all connected.
Stay wild. Stay free. With love from Gravitational Waves.
“These are challenging times in the middle east. As the situation in Gaza gets worst daily, we are committed to doing what we can to end this conflict, and provide aid to the residents of Gaza, as well as all Palestinians in the west bank.
All proceeds from Confused Machines’ digital sales will go directly to Physicians For Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) www.phr.org.il, which continues its medical work and humanitarian aid in the West Bank despite the difficult circumstances.
Since October 2023, PHRI has doubled its activity in the West Bank and is sending two weekly mobile clinic visits to help communities that are cut off from medical treatment due to the severe wave of settler and military violence, movement restrictions, and the financial crisis in the West Bank.
PHRI is currently unable to operate in Gaza due to restrictions by the Israeli authorities, and have been barred from delivering aid to the strip. PHRI is constantly working to resume these activities and will do so as soon as the circumstances allow.
We urge for an immediate ceasefire, the return of all hostages, and a peaceful future for all inhabitants of this troubled land.”
Master Man Maschine at Sons Of Traders, also known as The Sympathizer, also known as Hannibal III, TANS presents here another “pushing boundaries” release with a 4 tracks digital EP full of madness.
The fourth installment of the ‘Tracks From The Alley’ series continues to explore the oblique edges of the jackin zone, dragging recognizable primitive elements of dance music through narcotic madness; a possible soundtrack for sleepless nights at the skate park. Involved in this 4 tracker mini-compilation are the Greek dj/producer DimDj, the Berlin-based Italian producer and part of Sons Of Traders, TANS, the Portugal-based Brazilian Unrealistic Expectations label owner Nothing Was There, and the Alley Version’s brothers FLML.
”Through consumption and entertainment’ is the latest full-length compilation from the Sons of Traders label in collaboration with Mutant Radio. It features a gritty cast of affiliates of label owners Mike Tansella jr. and TANS who curate this release.
“Crollo Nervoso” (Nervous Breakdown) is a collection of tracks recorded in Berlin Schönlein Strasse between 2018 and 2020 by Italian super-duo (and cousins) TANS & Mike Tansella Jr. as Sons Of Traders. This is their 2nd full album, with over 80 minutes of sonic mayhem from SOT mostly inspired by Genesis P. Orridge, 242, A.S.F., Esplendor Geometrico etc. in the Italian 80’s wave tradition. Additionally there are over 24 minutes of remixes by the likes of Chris Mitchell, Chupacabras, Elena Sizova, Jaundice, and Memory Clap Acid.
