Mule Driver returns with his yearly 303 Day ritual release – a tradition dropped in acid. Leading the charge is “Stone Pine Nut”, an unfiltered acid banger recorded live, capturing the raw voltage and untamed pressure of his performances. No polish, no safety net, just the pure, driving force pushed to its limits. It’s sweat, pulse, and machine energy locked in the moment. Alongside it, “When Does the Everyday Become History” shifts the perspective inward. A contemplative 303 vamp circling themes of inner gaze and suspended time, it stretches and breathes while never losing its grip on the floor. Hypnotic, restrained, yet fully capable of holding dancers in its spell. Two movements within the same frequency – instinct and introspection.
Retro-futurist duo Group Modular presents the second release in its new 7inch series, powered by Confused Machines and Delights labels. On the new double-sider, Mule Driver and Markey Funk share their fascination with the late 20th century brutalist architecture and explore themes of geometric patterns, urbanistic utopia and its inevitable decay. “Hecker” is a dreamy yet uplifting short piece. Tirelessly building up in repetitive odd cycles, it portrays an imaginary time-lapse of a modern city’s perpetual development and renewal. On the flipside, slow and gentle “Sharon”, inspired by the sound of early 80s Bruton library, paints a melancholic and alienated picture of a late-night residential area.
Berlin, 2014 — Dj Nephil sparks the label. A few breaks, some chaos… but guess what? We’re still here.
To mark the decade we drop a 25-artist compilation — no genres, no borders, no bullshit. Just raw energy and noise tearing through the system.
This compilation is not just a release — it’s proof that the underground never dies. We do this for the music and for the love that keeps us all connected.
Stay wild. Stay free. With love from Gravitational Waves.
Group Modular breaks the 3-year silence and launches a new series of 7inch releases, powered by Confused Machines and Delights labels. The first 45 features two familiar tunes, previously available only on short-run (and immediately sold-out) lathe-cut releases.
Gravitational Waves proudly welcomes Mule Driver for a special 808 Day release – celebrating the iconic Roland drum machine that changed electronic music forever. Now based in the Netherlands, Mule Driver is the head of Confuse Machine Records, known for his raw, hardware-driven sound. The tracks on this release were originally produced between 2016 and 2017, capturing a pure, unfiltered energy from his archives. Revived and re-contextualized, they carry the spirit of the 808 in its most rugged and rebellious form. Mule Driver is thrilled to join the Gravitational Waves family for this powerful sonic tribute. All tracks were recorded around 2016-17. The release closes with an excellent edit by GW head DJ Nephil.
“Pride Or Die is our next fundraiser compilation released in solidarity with Budapest Pride.
In March 2025 the Hungarian Parliament rewrote the country’s assembly law, tightening the rules for all public demonstrations — but with wording clearly aimed at shutting down Pride. The amendment threatens marchers and organisers with fines of up to €500 and lets police deploy facial‑recognition systems. It follows a 2020 ban on legal gender recognition and the 2021 law censoring LGBTQ+ content for minors.
Meanwhile, the government continues to target civil organisations more broadly, signalling an even darker outlook for the future of democratic rights and community spaces in Hungary.
To answer this attack on basic civil and queer rights, Dalmata Daniel teamed up with 34 artists from Hungary and across the globe to contribute exclusive tracks. The result is a diverse, powerful collection that channels solidarity, resistance, and care through sound.
The term “Ides of March” refers to March 15th since the troubled days of the Roman Empire. But this year, more than ever, one might think these times of Calamity start on March 3rd, the annual TB-303 day, due to the boiling and dark tracks cooked by Mule Driver for this glorious day. Once you hear their lethal drop of electro-acid you can kiss the Roman empire goodbye – Mule Driver delivers the Roland Empire!
Yarrow Ballet returns with a temperamental twelve track VA compilation traversing from moody experimental electronics to dark industrial sounds, post punk and gloomy synth wave.
Immerse yourself in an electrifying fusion of analog textures and experimental soundscapes. This record is a bold, underground exploration where Electro, Techno, and Experimental collide in an uplifting yet distorted sonic journey. Crafted with an unwavering commitment to authenticity, the tracks embody the raw, unpolished energy of analog gear, delivering a gritty, dynamic experience. The artists—Filmmaker, Hanniball III, DJ Nephil, Mule Driver, Porosty, and DJ Sigils—bring their uncompromising vision to the forefront, creating a soundscape that rejects mainstream conventions. This record isn’t shaped by market trends or hype; it’s a pure expression of underground artistry, designed to break boundaries and let creativity flow untethered. With each track, the listener is invited into a world where the unexpected thrives, and where the only rule is to push the limits of sound.
Confused Machines presents another 808 day release. 7 Electro cuts using Roland TR-808, Roland SH-09, Korg MS-20, Korg MS-2000, Verbos Electronics modules and a few FX processors.
“These are challenging times in the middle east. As the situation in Gaza gets worst daily, we are committed to doing what we can to end this conflict, and provide aid to the residents of Gaza, as well as all Palestinians in the west bank.
All proceeds from Confused Machines’ digital sales will go directly to Physicians For Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) www.phr.org.il, which continues its medical work and humanitarian aid in the West Bank despite the difficult circumstances.
Since October 2023, PHRI has doubled its activity in the West Bank and is sending two weekly mobile clinic visits to help communities that are cut off from medical treatment due to the severe wave of settler and military violence, movement restrictions, and the financial crisis in the West Bank.
PHRI is currently unable to operate in Gaza due to restrictions by the Israeli authorities, and have been barred from delivering aid to the strip. PHRI is constantly working to resume these activities and will do so as soon as the circumstances allow.
We urge for an immediate ceasefire, the return of all hostages, and a peaceful future for all inhabitants of this troubled land.”

Mule Driver is a Tel Aviv based producer, sound artist, musician and DJ, Founder and Owner of Confused Machines label, bass player in the renounced industrial-punk band Mujahideen, and half of the library music duo Group Modular. Mule Driver’s music is a dark tribute to the sound of classic analogue machines and acid-house aesthetics, wrapped up in a unique live delivery.
“I’ve recently recorded a new project called Muladona, named after a book by the same name, about a cursed woman who turned into the devil’s mule. I started recording at the peak of the COVID pandemic here in israel, and wanted to convey the tense atmosphere of the book and of the times. In this project I’ve worked with less gear, and focused more on textures, to create an eerie, haunted and somewhat distorted sound. Every night, the Muladona, a doomed soul transformed into the Devil’s mule, visits Verge and forces him to listen to a horrific tale. Each night, as Verge huddles under his bed sheets, the monster’s supernatural tales tear his soul apart.”
