Swiss Master Shaka returns to Yore and brings as the deepest, most musical House for his new EP entitled as “Lost In Time”.
More or less in a chronological order this is the last part of our favorite tracks from 2024.

ReKaB drops a strong four-track EP, rooted firmly in the Detroit sound with a nod to the soulful techno styles that shaped the UK underground in the 90s. This is his second EP for Cologne’s YORE Records. The production, as always, is spot on—sharp, detailed, and endlessly listenable. While the tracks carry the weight of tradition, they’re not stuck in it. There’s a fresh, forward-facing energy here that keeps things exciting.

Originally released on Yore in 2008 after a hiatus in Brussels. Afro, jazz, funk and house all contribute to this 4-on-the-floor 4-piece. Heavy on the chords, basslines and percussion. Classic Alton Miller with a whole lot of deepness.

Remixes of the Andy Vaz “House Warming” full lenght album by Ava’s Damiano von Erckert and Detroit’s Patrice Scott.

Yore returns with the first appearance on the label this year with the Edinburgh-based outfit 2DeepSoul, which counts Brad Peterson and Rai Scott as its members.

Limited 12” with some sweet gently and jazzy Detroit influenced house tracks. Come with unique handmade red paint bicycle wheels patterns on the front record sleeve – each a unique individual piece, sleeve backside handstamped.

Tony Ollivierra on Yore with Absolution, four body-moving cuts that liberally draw on classic US house, jazz, and even Latin traditions. The infectious title cut gets things moving with a bass-powered blend of claps and funky rhythms before chunky house chords and silken synth figures add to the track’s multi-layered splendour. A jazzier dimension rises to the surface of “Quick Release” when the tune’s churning hi-hats are joined by royally swinging electric piano playing and luscious synth pads. “Phase Down” opts for a purer deep house sound in its focus on kick drums, claps, and futuristic synths, though the track proves that Ollivierra’s naturally funky side can’t help but emerge, here as it does elsewhere. Syncopated rhythms and electric pianos emerge one final time during the wide-screen “Find My Way” in such a way that a balance is struck between synth-heavy techno and jazz fusion.

Two track collectors item – orange coloured 7″ taken from Andy Vaz’s “Straight Vacationing” album, with “Just Another Round” and “Detroit In Me (Orlando B. Remix)”. Disco house madness all the way.

Andy Vaz’s Straight Vacationing, his first full-length artist album since 2006, registers as less a straight-up collection of dance-floor burners and more of a variety pack that mixes club tracks and full-fledged house songs. Listeners hungry for just ordinary 4/4 throw-downs will not entirely get their share of those, but they’ll also get a whole lot more on this dynamic and well-rounded set of eight album tracks and that is exploring House Music not just as a simple one way street, but give you a very personal view of the music we call House. Straight Vacationing dives into the genre in all it’s rich variety: From deep melodic, early Chicago influenced Acid House, Jacking-Jedi Mind Tricks to Disco-type grooves and last but not least excursions into Bizzaro World, with a vaz typical almost psychedelic experimental-edged Sound, it’s all there.

Elbee Bad from New York presents spaced out Alien Funk – strictly limited onesided EP on Yore Records.

Second release from Orlando B. on Yore Records. The UK producer laid down the new release’s material in West London, but its heart and soul lies an ocean away, as the ”Motor City” track title suggests; He also got a soft spot for classic house and techno, as evidenced by the title he’s given to the thirty-minute EP.

Morning Factory’s second Yore EP, “New Memories”, is bursting full of fresh ideas. pener “Maiden”Voyage” is classic Morning Factory, an ever-so-tight house jam that twists and turns for eight rapturous minutes. Darker undercurrents run through “Last March of the Ants” when church organ chords stretch themselves across a windswept, broken beat shuffle. Creamy organ sounds also course through “Radioshow”, which takes a nostalgic glance backward to a golden age where something like “Green Onions” had a chance of getting played on the radio. But the EP’s most body-shaking cut arrives last in the form of “Cherish”, a charging tech-house hellraiser animated by rowdy basslines and shotgun claps.

New Yore release brings an EP from Tony Ollivierra aka Ibex with four tracks, so deep (and yet grooving without a doubt), unique and full of class. The music on this EP is so rich and full of musical idea’s.

Yore returns with four funky and warm disco-ish house tracks that the Tokyo Connection boys Kez YM, Rodenion and No Milk.

Rick Wade, the self-entitled new Duke of Cologne returns to Cologne based Yore Imprint, the Real Dukes in town. The Detroit based Deep House Soldier Rick Wade has been around for a long time and has been releasing deep house tracks long enough to warrant the ‘old master’ title. Wade delivers some classic house tunes with a disco feel to it (think funking basslines, strings etc) ofcourse with his irresistable Rhodes and Keys.

Yore proudly presents Marcello Napoletano, who is more than just the man of the hour, with his extraordinary releases presented on Mathematics, Uzuri and Quintessentials. This Ep follows the roots of classic raw House musics in its purest most authentic form.

Yore starts the new year off on the good foot with a four-tracker from the Dutch Duo “Morning Factory” that’s remarkably accomplished for a first release. Expertly manning the controls are two gentlemen from The Netherlands, Jean-Pierre van der Leeuw and Jozef Lemmens, who clearly produce a high-octane electronic body music that’s timeless and fresh
