‘No Hope, No Fear’ is a new vinyl series in KRI Records’ catalogue, combining 4 artists and a nod to the legendary Slovenian band Borghesia and our apocalyptic times. Swedish duo Harlem Electronics is responsible for the meaty opening track ‘Versausage’, where minimal wave meets industrial funk. Fear side is rounded by American Kri family member Ole Mic Odd, returning with his signature haunting electro gloom. Hope side doesn’t necessarily offer hope but sure does help with escapism. Slovenian partner in crime 198319831983 gives an apt comment while twisting electro and EBM on ‘Trustno1’. The record finishes on a “high” note with the legendary Cute Heels ft. Duke MC Herton for peak-time club decadence.

This release features six tracks that perfectly encapsulate FERMA’s sound identity and forward-thinking vision. The A-side opens with Teras, an atmospheric piece with immersive vocals that lay the foundation for the journey ahead. Thrust Reverse cranks up the intensity with industrial-driven arpeggios, primed to ignite the dancefloor. What do you get if you put two synthesizer sorcerers in the same room? In the case of Skatebård and Lauer, the answer is Trollkraft. Between them, the Norwegian-German partnership have hundreds of releases, run record labels and have wowed crowds across the globe. In short, the two tracks of Trollkraft are the product of some serious electronic talent. Rich and textured drum layers give way to strings and a vibrating bass for the title piece. Twists and turns abound, elements of disco and house brush shoulders with indie and italo as the pair tear down genre divisions. A 90s heyday influence that runs through both offerings, with “One Night In Geilo” taking its cue from house rhythms and a two-stepping melody adopted from that emblematic decade. Reimagining rave in their own effervescent and playful style, these strobe and fog veterans serve up a fat slice of glow-stick elation. Strings weave high into the dawning sky, bongos and toms reveling next incandescent synthines with just a touch of trance thrown in to add spice to this heady and euphoric mix.

Composer and sound artist Ishai Adar unveils the original score for HBO’s Our Boys, now available digitally for the first time. The 2019 series dramatizes the harrowing events surrounding the 2014 abduction and murder of Palestinian teenager Mohammed Abu Khdeir in Jerusalem, offering an unflinching exploration of state power, communal trauma, and fractured identities. Adar’s score avoids conventional narrative cues, instead constructing a sonic architecture of electroacoustic dissonance and textural abstraction. The compositions conjure an imagined ensemble—acoustic instruments processed and mutated into something part-organic, part-synthetic, edged with overtones of drone and analog decay. The resulting sound captures a persistent sense of unease and interior tension, echoing the bleak interrogation rooms and shadowed urban landscapes that define the series.
