The Detroit veteran delivers four new tracks on Frictional.

1990 was the decade Kirk established healthy roots with the network trio of Detroit producers: Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson. In preparation for Kirks most influential journey to the US, he collaborated demos with Ed Handley and Andy Turner under the collective The Black Dog.

Freshgoodminimal.ro, a lead Romanian electronic music blog, launched Buzz.RO!, the first local music compilation under Creative Commons license. The compilation appears on CD, in 1000 copies, with 12 electronic music composers from Romania, and also in digital form, with another five tracks, for a total of 17 artists. All the songs could be shared and downloaded from the net for noncommercial use and part of them could be sampled and remixed. The CDs are not for sale. They will be used to promote the artists and the digital compilation and will be distributed to labels, promoters and other artists form Romania and abroad. The digital compilation will be distributed on various electronic music blogs and sites.

The debut release on Freund Der Familie Raw has been handed to the unknown Achim Maerz whose only track to date appeared last year on the equally solitary release from the Dérive Schallplatten label. The limelight certainly doesn’t show any weaknesses in his armour. “Channel 04” is driving, edgy and totally catchy dance floor dub techno.

‘Selfish’ is Hard Tons debut EP for Gigolo Records. An artist in the true sense of the word, and one that appears to follow the same lineage as previous label mates Fischerspooner and Tiga!

The glory days of SPEICHER resound in our ears once again – its time for techno to take a front row seat in the rave cathedral. Destination: future unknown. This is what the disco kids will certainly scream for as they now start to yearn for darkness in their dance. The perfect storm – a cold fusion of peak roar techno that is 100% classic SPEICHER.

20 years of brutal, no-holds barred techno. Adam X’s Sonic Groove imprint has rarely wavered in intent or in sound, a compellingly consistent watchword for the sort of electronic music that puts hair on the chest of its male fans and God knows what for its female followers. Dasha Rush’s new EP for the label continues in this vein. It’s a cleaner ride than Obtane’s recent 12-inch, but it’s no less intense, trading dank random industrialism for deep tracks that parcel out their steam pipe explosions carefully.

Perc opens up the Vertigo releases with his most singleminded track in years. Based around a looping, lo-fi groove BCG is both a perfect DJ tool and an unforgettable lead track. Occasional blasts of distortion break up the rhythmic flow but this is no clichéd white noise soaked epic, just pure heads-down basement techno. Remixes from Forward Strategy Group and Milton Bradley.

After his recent releases on his own A.R.T. label, Kirk has shown us that he is back in effect. This double a-sided 12” confirms just that! Two solid techno tracks that both are steaming dance floor tracks, yet they both have a sophisticated, almost elegant touch.

Split release from techno don Mark Broom and Edit Select for Beardman . Tasty Techno release from this sought after label.

Special house 12 inch , includes exclusive tracks by Rick Wade, Nick Holder and Scott Ferguson!
Spectacle is the new collaboration of Muallem & Benjamin Roeder. Spectacle No 1 includes a Limited 12″ and an exclussive poster by Benjamin Roeder.
Mike Dehnert presents MD2 limited release, with some well crafted deep bass loaded Berlin techno tools combined with some dubstep influences!

Nation is On The Move! The tracks for this release are unique and striking that their specialness is undeniable. D’Marc Cantu and The Maniacs are particularly compelling.

Everysoul is a new beginning and a new label from Vince Watson. Everysoul will be a testimony to good quality music, bridging many genre’s along the way. We hope you enjoy the ride, we cant wait to get started.
