UK wave funk veteran DMX Krew returns to Abstract Forms with his latest double album project. Escape-MCP features 13 tracks of synth drenched electro and elastic techno grooves drawing inspiration from a 1983 computer game where the player is trapped inside a computer by a rogue processor. Fortunately DMX Krew isn’t trapped inside a computer and is still with us making killer grooves.

Morphology, back where they began on Abstract Forms. Killer aquatic electro born out of cold, dark and long winters in Finland.

Abstract Forms new Synth Funk offshoot presents the third release of DMX Krew. Ladies and Gentleman the man with the magic fingers gives you Tha Bump!

Louis Haiman returns to Abstract Forms with some seriously deep underwater vibes….and who better to co-pilot than Heinrich Mueller himself.

If you are going to do Acid it better be a uncompromising slab of raw Acid House. Four jackers from Japan’s duo Takeshi Kouzuki & Mituo Shiomi.

DMX Krew continues to shine on Abstract Forms new Synth Funk offshoot. Like the first EP ‘Electro Worm’, ‘Dogg Fungk’ features more old school flavours and for Volume 2 Ed gets busy with some killer synth-driven Jazz and Funk grooves.

Volume One in the new Synth Funk series on Abstract Forms set to revolve around retro-synth funk and electro; and who better to kick-off the proceedings than DMX Krew. Four tracks that deliver “exactly what it says on the tin” – as in warm, funky, synth-driven electronic grooves. Also features a Luke Eargoggle remix.

The mastermind of dark and demented Electro returns to Abstract Forms, Marco Bernardi delivers four cuts of awesome Purist Electro.

The latest release on Abstract Forms finds Swedish electro purist Ola Bergman return for a second offering in his ongoing series of Multiverse releases as Obergman, having inaugurated proceedings with Cyclic Multiverse back in March. Much like that seven track set, there is much for fans of minimal machine funk to savour on Quilted Multiverse, and Bergman uses the album format to really showcase his full production palette. So whilst opener “Resemblance” or “Supersymmetry” are classic jittering electro with subaqueous textures and rippling rhythms, Bergman also indulges his more bugged out side on “Alkaline”, “Coma Cluster” and the rhythmically interesting “Gravitational Collapse”.

Flowing acidic lava from new Abstract Acid discovery, Etcher, who we have absolutely no prior knowledge of, but this matters not as this is solid acid-techno through-and-through, reminiscent perhaps of an early nineties European sound, which of course we favour greatly here at Interstellar HQ. Quite simply really, really good acid.

Mid-paced, fresh ‘n’ funky electro gear on this eight track EP from Swedish artist, Obergman. All very nicely produced while maintaining the quirky factor throughout which results in an EP that gels perfectly from start to finish and a respectable follow-up to the recnt DMX Krew release on Abstract Forms.

Ed Upton aka DMX Krew debuts on Abstract Forms, showing us just what can be done with a collection of vintage synths, impeccable programming skills and a heavy dose of talent. ‘Micro Life’ is a jam packed EP of eight tracks which venture on the quirky side of the electro genre. This modernist take on a classic style delivers a wonderful sense of melody, refreshing arrangements and innate funk.

Andreas Gehm returns to Abstract Acid with another series of dark and demented basement jams. A Groove EP features six tracks of his signature style so you know what to expect its no frills, no nonsense, straight up jack your body business, made for those who still love the sound of that little silver box.

Adventurous electro project featuring a what might be regarded as a who’s-who in the current electro scene, reeling-in names such as DJ Stingray, DMX Krew, Ian Martin, Shemale, Elec Pt.1; with perhaps lesser known talents such as Linear Synthesis, Federico Leocata, Koova and Das Muster. A fine selection of tracks which successfully presents fresh sounds by tried-and-tested names, while simultaneously introducing upcoming and arguably lesser known, but by no means any less talented artists.

The Exaltics have been rippin’-up the acid vibes for some time now, gathering momentum from the efforts and hard work of imprints such as Solar One Music, Transient Force, Last Known Trajectory, Bunker and Panzerkreuz and of course more recently Crème Organization, Trust and our friends at Abstract Acid. As such, the time has come for a full-length acid project, entitled ‘Das Heise Experiment’ which originates from The Exaltics’ desire to take things a notch deeper, while pushing the acid a step into more menacing and quite devilish territory. For those that appreciate such dastardly dark styles, well, you will not be disappointed with this album. Coarse acid coupled with sublime soundscapes and ubiquitously haunting melodies make for the perfect combination.

Follow-up to the recent Ekman release on Bunker/Panzerkreuz and we have further idiosyncratic electronic experiments on this deep and dastardly EP.

Abstract Acid presents a super-tasty acid collection with cuts from our Elec Pt.1, Etcher, Crime Scene and Takeshi Kouzuki. Splendid sounds for the oldschool heads.

Another 6 track release by Luke Eargoggle on Abstract Forms. Expect mind altering scientific electro tracks again in his typical signature style. Superb electro EP with strong Kraftwerk influence and Detroit style melodies.
