Simoncino – The Warrior Dance EP Part #3 [LAX125]

Skylax Records welcomes their 25th release, with Simoncino for the “Warrior Dance III”. This EP features on A Side the wonderfull “Warriors dance” (chicago’s jackin heaven’s not so far we guess), “Tropical vibe” that’s got this kind of disco feeling without sounding (thx god) nu-disco & to end “Hey detroit” that speaks for itself . On the B side, we have 2 remixes, one from Ron Trent & another atmospheric & deep as hell one from Chez Damier’s morning after mix part II.
Luke Hess – Dubout #3 [LHFXHE003]
Kez YM – Stride EP [FACES1210]

Kazuki Yamaguchi aka Kez YM brings 4 excellent Detroit House beat-down tracks on Faces Records.
DVS1 – Evolve [HUSH001]

The first release on this new imprint, Hush, is coming from DVS1. Smooth minimalist techno tracks rooted in the best detroit traditions of minimal techno!
John Daly – Sea Level [FUR017]

Surprising release from John Daly on Further Records. A side is a aquatic analogue ambient piece (the Haze mix). Main track/mix is on the b-side which is a stunning and epic techno track with intense strings and lovely fragile melodies on top.
Santiago Salazar – Shadow Dancing Mix November 2011
Unbroken Dub – Northern Fields Mix

Mike Huckaby – Baseline 87 [SUSH04.56]

Another very sought after limited Sushitech 12″. “Baseline 87″ is exactly what the title is named a rolling Baseline loop that would certainly move any dance floor. Talking of dance floors “Music For The Dancefloor” certainly does what it says on the tin. A modern Detroit Techno track with lots of energy with Huckaby’s signature keys that certainly move you.
VA – Vanguard Sound Vol. 2 [PBR024]

The collective keeps it rolling with a new release featuring Chicago and New York artist as a united front to destroy dance-floors through house and techno tunes. Advancing through the ranks of the underground with 4 unique tunes that are quite deep and worth a check: featuring… G. Marcell, Dakini9, Kuru aka DJ Spider, and Hakim Murphy.
Theo Parrish – S.T.F.U [SS044]
Scott Ferguson – Midwest Party People EP [FPR033]

Ferrispark Records present a new release from Scott Ferguson. On ‘Alright’ heavy bass and beats eventually mutate into a smooth late-night house jam, with a Kenny Dixon Jr sample. Side B is laced with chatter, cheers, and claps, accompanied by chords, strings, sub-bass, and disco loops.
Levon Vincent – Impressions Of A Rainstorm [NS006]

New Levon Vincent on the cultishly adored Novel Sound label. The A-side is a modern tribal House masterpiece, shaking the drums into a mammoth, speaker-owning subbass while layers of star-screaming synths expand and envelope your mind with jaw-dropping psychedelic dynamism. Then there’s the B-side. ‘Revs/Cost’ opens the account with steppin’ snare punctuations and rib crushing subs before a lashing dub chord rifles thru the whole thing, syncing with a flooded subbass to spine-chilling effect. For measure there’s also the staggering ‘Pivotal Moments In Life’, a life-affirming piece of House music if we’ve ever heard one.
XDB – Recago EP [DOLLY008]

This time it’s XDB delivering the goodies for Dolly, as always pushing the boundaries between house and deep techno. With this 4 excellent cuts XDB is taking the label in even deeper territories. Even though they are very well playable and will easily rock the floor, taking it up to somewhere between jupiter & mars, XDB’s tracks are more than just proper dj-tools. So well-crafted, deep, harsh and hypnotising, but always firmly keeping floor contact with minimal yet funky drum programming, exactly as this kind of music should be. To top things of, Brooks Mosher on remix duties delivers a Detroit inspired remix of ‘Sunda’.
Jeff Mills – Star Chronicles: Orion [TW010]

New series of work by Jeff Mills based on stars and constellations. For this release Mills sets his sights on Orion. Superb sounds from a master with a vision.
Dj Sotofett – DJ Sotofett Presenterer Dritfett [WANIA098]

All the tracks here are based around the 909 – thunderous kickdrums and sharp, hissing hi-hats that cut through the mix. Still, there’s a broad range of sounds, from head-down, fists-clenched warehouse workouts with an industrial edge, to more melodic tracks with Detroit references aplenty. Good honest techno with a real raw live feel.
Lost Trax / The Connection Machine – Lost Connection [TABR007]

One the first Mini LP on Tabernacle Records, the mysterious sounds of Lost Trax and The Connection Machine combine to yield a collection of hypnotic tracks. Touching on inner hopes and fears, their mark is felt long after the music has ended.
VA – Introducing Icon Of Desire [IOD001]

The first release on Icon Of Desire, a multidimensional journey through emptiness, frustration, compassion, relief, elevation. Tracks from Annie Hall, passEnger, Louis Haiman and Furthr.
Hadamard – The Jupiter Cycle Part 2: Jupiter Lucetius [TRAJECTORY2019]

‘Emergent Behaviour’ is what one might determine the calm before the storm, as we dive into the second instalment of ‘The Jupiter Cycle’, as the drifting ambience and somewhat ominous synths proceed ‘Abstract Thought’, itself a stubborn barrage of hardened electro beats, rigid stabs, crystalizing and melding into an explosive mayhem and of course, ‘The Ghost in the Machine’, if anything a more traditional styled, yet irresistible electro hit. ‘The Deep’ showcases Hadamard in a distinctly experimental mode, where all the fine details are tuned to perfection for maximum atmosphere. Finally, drifting into ‘The Collective’ and ‘Satellite Swarm’, both gliding onwards and ever deeper into pure ambience, the latter closing piece eloquently preparing the audio stratosphere for the next chapter in The Jupiter Cycle…
Hadamard – The Jupiter Cycle Part 1: Jupiter Summanus [TRAJECTORY1019]

The first phase in the breath-taking new musical project from Hadamard. As we enter Hadamard’s universe of ‘The Jupiter Cycle’, we hear a synthesis of straight-up electro coalesce with spellbinding ambient and experimental futurism, to create an overall Bladerunner-esque environment.
