This is the Fourth Nebraska EP for Rush Hour. Again, a strong 4 tracker.

‘Nuclear Rawmance’ is soundwise very different from Savas’ Pascalidis previous albums, so it can clearly be seen as his first Longplayer in a new sea of sounds. Over 12 masterfully produced cuts, all created in his studio using a veritable bank of hardware, Savas pours out his musical heart. From tough, old school edged house, to raw, jacking techno, dub atmospheres and smokey warehouse epics.

New Mathematics Recordings release featuring four tracks of refreshing house from this new artist from the UK. Elements of early classic house & Detroit tech roam throughout, while still maintaining a unique style.

This 12″ is a preview to the cd album”The Space Voodoo”, which contains completely different tracks than the vinyl release Math 033. Here’s 4 tracks in true amazing Marcello fashion – deep, unpredictable, and bangin!

430 West Records embarks on an epic journey revisiting classic tracks from it’s 20 year history with 2010 reworkings. First in the series are remixes of Octave One’s seminal techno track “Meridian” and their absolute floor killer ”Dema”.

Not much really needs to be said about a new release on Mahogani Music, especially since it involves contributions from some of Detroit’s greats, including Kenny Dixon Jr, Anthony Shakir, Carl Craig, and last but not least, the main man Sherard Ingram aka DJ Stingray. It’s a single LP which contains twelve tracks – a couple of shorter skits, but most pretty much full tracks. Now maybe time to state the obvious… this won’t hang around long!

Sistrum announces the return of Ireland’s Leonid, who offers a proper follow up to his highly regarded debut Sistrum EP, Sadim (SIS-009). The J3 EP pushes further down into the depths and brings forth timeless vibes for those who seek to shed the excess and get to the heart of the matter. And this matter is the groove – the kind of simple, effective groove that you can get lost in, the kind of groove that you can listen to forever and it just seems to get better the longer you listen to it.

Verdantin is an epic 13 minutes long burner. Moody synths, haunting vocals, and a sub-sonic kick drive the slowly evolving structure forward. However… b-side track Siebzehn is at least as good with its lush dubby chords and its echo-ing vocals layer over a classic house groove.

‘Black Keith’ definitely has that drive and swing and groove we love so much. ‘Close To Me’ is a little deeper and more classy (Detroit), yet still grooves like a motherlicker.

The house of Workshop is powerfully represented by Kassem Mosse & Lowtec on Laid records this time.

New Kyle Hall on his own label. Two crazy jackin Detroit house cuts as only Kyle can deliver…

The Verged Sessions represents the evolution of the Chicago/Detroit sound … full of lush orchestrated strings, synths and deep pads with a massive foundation of thumping TR-808 & 909 drums. Steven has previously unleashed quality deepness, for almost a decade on his own label, Emphasis Recordings.

New full length CD from the man, Fabrice Lig. Nice combination of downbeat tracks, electro and classic Detroit techno as we know of Fabrice Lig! Perfect versatile Nice price CD release with all the extra’s, beautiful artwork!

Don Williams provides two deep and tricky Detroit jackers for Baud. ‘Dynamic Rain’ is lead by future-tribal tom patterns and sparse, abstract synthlines. The idiosyncratic ‘Glis Groove’ on the flip reminds of Redshape (who coincidentally mastered this 12″) with deep shuffling arrangement tinged with a sci-fi house vibe. Lovely heavy card sleeve and top class cut & mastering job.
