Opener ‘Hurricane Blues’ comes off like Ikonika’s ‘Fish’ with a more defined IDM debt, while ‘Mutations’ follows with a clean and melodic garage breaks groove. ‘Cold Hearted’ is the best thing here, running an Altered Natives style drum entanglement with jazzy chords to match before ‘Late Nights’ jams on a halfstepped Gangsta boogie flex.

Ooft is the joint effort of The Revenge and Ali Herron. With ‘Ride In To The Red Zone’ they lay down a bed of heavyweight slowhouse kicks before dropping a scorching male vocal, while ‘Spanky Spanky’ aligns itself with the sort of drag-house grooves.

Flip side had a track called Hot Lizard which is a rawer and more masculine piece as many of us might know from the typical italian police series and horror movie scores from the late 70’s and early 80’s
Four versions of some cosmic-rock kinda grooves to play with here folks – perfect for those who like their disco with a hint of hippy trippiness and lysergic acid.
Ilija Rudman is an analogue and vinyl purist his productions are always to the highest standard and Electric Minds is pleased to be working with the Croatian producer once again. Ilija delivers two bumper tracks for the A side of this release, most definitely a nod to the 80’s boogie sound with both productions thumping with bass throughout. For the B side we welcome Michael J Collins.
