Richard Gateaux is back with another fine EP of cosmic and cinematic disco delights, on the “Life Cycle Of A Paranoid Man EP” he squeezes in no less than seven tracks for us to enjoy.

JB Is Dead’ is the new single by Alexander Robotnick, coming in three different versions. The Krypta version is inspired by the Italian producer’s early work and made using the original analogue gear he ‘d play with in the early 80s. The Club and Electro versions are more suitable for the modern nu-disco wave.

One thing The Model manages to do is keep people guessing. Just when you thought you’d pinned him down to some convenient pigeonhole, he somehow manages to jack-knife his way out of it. Need proof? Look no further than his latest EP, “The Principles of Modelling”.

Heinrich Dressel returns with a four-track release. A compendium of crime-o-rama deliberate violence, with the Legowelt connivance.

Teaming up with long time buddy Fred Ventura, Sfera Celeste Project combines the melancholy of vintage Italo disco with the black funk of Man Parrish and the mysterious atmosphere that good new wave used to have. These guys come in the tradition of the earliest electronic dance music and show their love for man and machine.

Alba with their first full 12” release. The triumvirate of Roland Sebastian Faber, Keen K and Label Owner Michael Künzer is a team that has been delivering the goods on labels such as Clone, Das Drehmoment and Viewlexx. The 12”, titled after Künzer’s one year old daughter, contains three tracks; Philomena 1-3. Each track has a different twist to it, showcasing what the able electronic Alba are capable of. “Philomena 1” is a cosmic synth fuelled work. There is a electro boogie within the bars of “Philomena 2” piece, but it is the electronic depth that rings true, while “Philomena 3” keeps the heavy synthesizer sound going.

Second release on Tabernacle is a split E.P. from two closely connected Glasgow artists. Four tracks produced under extreme surveillance and surrounded by the uncertainty of an unseen future. On the a-side, analogue warlords Fancy & Spook deliver two stripped back and hard-edged weapons. While on the b-side, Ditone shifts between both the bleak and beautiful shades of electro.

The legendary AUX88 with their first release on Transient Force! Take a robotic voyage with AUX 88 with hypnotic tracks, syncopated hi’s, wobbling bass lines and ghusing synths.

New album from Morphology, a collaboration from Finland consisting of Michael Diekmann, who also records under the alias CRC and Matti Turunen otherwise known as Näköradiomies. Morphology fuses early electro sounds with haunting melodies to create a deep blend of atmospheric future funk.

The new Semantica is a 5 tracker by Boris Divider (Drivecom), who serves an excellent combination of dark and minimalistic electro.

Alek Stark teams-up with some of electro’s freshest talent for this potential electro hit. The original version here is a full-on workout to get down to, with agitated vocal and hard beats; while next in line is the totally sublime ‘I Can See the Lights’ featuring Victoria Lukas of Zerkalo (Heinrich Mueller & Victoria Lukas). Not to be over-shadowed however are two stealthily executed reworks from Proto 70 and Jauzas the Shining – most definitely forward thinking electro for the body and mind.

Frigio presents ”Dream EP” by label boss Juanpablo. Featuring a remix by J.T.C. aka James T. Cotton, vocals by Josh Werner and a special collaboration by ArD2. It also contains additional arrangements by Rolf Martens and Ekis.

Probably you already found out that we are preparing for the 1 year celebration and our special guest is Mick Wills [Nation, Minimal Rome, Gigolo Records – Stuttgart, DE]. This will be his second visit to Sibiu (after 5 years) and his first in Cluj-Napoca. Many words can be said about the man who started his djing career almost 25 years ago and has released his first EP back in 2001, on International Deejay Gigolo Records, but we leave the words to the only three Romanians with releases on Gigolo. Instead, we present an exclusive dj mix from Mick recorded live in Jena, Germany, on July 24th this year.
Enjoy and “Dance like nobody is watching”.
