“Suburban Tales 1 was born as a VA dedicated to push local talents: it was our intimate dedication to Milan, the city which raised us, made us know each other, forged our sound. Before this worldwide emergency we were already planning the sequel, but this peculiar situation drove us to extend it both to Italian and international friends and affiliates. A powerful project was born to finance the “Fondo San Giuseppe”, a fund instituted by Comune di Milano, to support the people who lost their job during this struggle which sees Milan as one of the cities that had been hit most by the virus. We will devolve the entire revenue to this association.”
The Orbitants run into galaxy exploring the unknown. Space ambient track from the electro soldier The Exaltics, explores the parallel worlds with his iconic sound. The electro duo Faceless Mind, straight outta North Europe kicked it with ‘Viggen Formations’: heavy bassline, highly evocative and hypnotic synth. Follow up the B1. Keep on going with the well-crafted formula DJ Vietnam and Haterparisi. Generated arpeggios by modular square-waves with syncopated beats reminding their techno background tells the experience of an alien abduction. Discover the raw surfaces of the B side which feels both organic and apocalyptic. ‘Intergalacid’ by Umwelt, a mix of acid-rave and electro to create some high impact sonic weaponry.

Twin Paradox is a special series in Fundamental Records where two different artists with a strong connection release a double album, one from each artists/band. So what we have here Two different albums, from two different artists, with a connection in style or maybe conceptual… in this TPS003 Luke Eargoggle for example is part of the Faceless Mind project.
With this straight electro EP the longtime connection between Stilleben’s own Luke Eargoggle and Lunatic became manifest. The innovator and his friends Kan3da and Weltwirtschaft bring four various and origin tracks that are kept together through the typical Stilleben sound, packed in a carefully screenprinted, Lunatic jacket. The producers show again their talent for bringing musical devices in harmonics and arrangement together with innovative ideas in this classic genre. Each track has its own, different moment on the dancefloor – pushing forward with Icelandic Lady and the remix of Ocean Movers the record delays with the deep meandering Die Ganze Welt on the b-side. Finally the remix of Jennifer Touch’s Astra with it’s disco-attitude reminds of their wide spectrum like shown in Eargoggle’s Monkeyshop project or Kan3da’s former release on AC Records.
Eargoggle and Inkinen produced track in their signature mind bending style. Highly limited picture disc mini LP.
