VA – ENOUGH!

In the face of the atrocities committed against Palestinians in both Gaza and all occupied territories the Jordanian label Dreaming Live issued this fundraiser compilation under the title ENOUGH!

All proceeds from this compilation will support Dr. Ghassan Abu-Sittah’s Children’s fund. Dr. Ghassan had volunteered extensively in Gaza throughout multiple crises. During this genocide, he worked in both Al-Ahli and Shifa hospitals. He was a survivor of the Ahli Hospital bombing which killed hundreds. His press conference outside of the hospital, surrounded by dead bodies, will be etched in our memories forever. He has now established a Children’s Fund which aims to treat injured children, rebuild the destroyed medical infrastructure, and establish a sponsorship program for 20,000+ orphans from the conflict.

Kris Baha – Barely Alive [EES035]

Emotional welcomes Kris Baha with ‘Barely Alive’, his first 12″ for Especial. Remixes start with Timothy J Fairplay who laces his trademark echoplexxed wash for a cold wave mover. Next, prodigy Job Sifre builds on his acclaimed debuts with a remodel that goes straight to ‘that’ basement, mixing his love of electro, new wave and industrial. To close, the legend of Das Ding creates a re-alternate remix, fusing his unique fuzz with Baha’s ode for a brittle finale.

VA – Archives Du Coeur Humain [PSR005]

The latest in the synth-heavy sludgedown from Public System Recordings, invites a new cast of characters into the dungeon dance. The common theme throughout this sampler of titans of industrial the world over, seems to be wide, slowed down melancholy. Some tracks take a floor-friendly jump, while others demand the attentive consumption of a more serene setting. These two discs are packed with dynamic, chugging, and forward thinking jams that make you mesh all things PSR is passionate for.

Job Sifre – Bestaan [KH013]

Job Sifre is one of the guys bringing new blood into the Amsterdam scene. This is the follow-up to his recently released debut on the new Artifical Dance label, where he continues his path of solid EBM fueled electronix. The record ends with the gorgeous ‘At Least We Try’, showing of his more tripping, rhythmic side.

Job Sifre – Worries [AD001]

Artificial Dance is a new record label from Amsterdam curated by Interstellar Funk. This is the imprint’s debut release and it is the first ever from young Dutch DJ/producer Job Sifre. “Worries” offers an extended glimpse at Sifre’s unique musical vision. It is one that draws heavily on vintage electronic music for inspiration, but also feels fresh and futurist in tone. In turns dark, industrial, hypnotic and mind-altering, the six-track EP bristles with impactful moments of magic.
