Nation’s sub label Kode returns with a split 12” release entitled “Output/Signal”. On Side A we have “Empty Spirit Of A Psychopath (Psyche Cover)” from Sacred Article, a new alias project for their debut concept creation cover of the band, Psyche, of electronics in their region of cold harsh industrial, warm synthpop, dancefloor minimal mayhem and beyond. The flip side comes from label compadre SSPS, kicking off with the live performance of “Train Full of Strangers”, from Unlimited Nation Online Festival in the summer of 2020, an electrifying tune influenced by Suicide.
EchoDroides is a collaboration between Chicago natives Frank De La Mora & Miguel Martin. Their sound can be described as a trip through space with analog synthesizers and drum machines. They came together in 2011 first working on remixes then shortly after decided to work on original material. Their music has been featured in TV shows, movies, promotional videos from Peugeot, fashion labels and the Ubisoft video game, Watch Dogs. For this special and limited release they re-created a track from 80s US studio project, Experimental Products, – paying tribute to “Glowing In The Dark” original and an instrumental. “Experimental Products has always been a massive influence on us from the very 1st time we heard them back in the 80s. Glowing in the Dark, in particular changed everything for us. Mark Wilde and Michael Gross were way ahead of their time. We wanted to pay tribute to them by re-creating this song from scratch.”
A split release on Nation’s sublabel, Kode. Two exclusive tracks from Black Meteoric Star and D’Marc Cantu. D’Marc Cantu’s RDDS is an abstract production where Hip Hop Meets electronix. A rare, unique document of class and sickness. Black Meteoric Star closes the release with an homage to a legendary NYC neo film… recorded live at the Capriccio x Nation EE9 party on 25 March 2016.
A split release on Nation’s sublabel, Kode. Two exclusive tracks from Transformation & Beau Wanzer. Transformation’s 2nd document of their time in the makeshift studio for another 15 minute psychedelic slo-trip continuing steps in creativity, gaining access to various pieces of musical equipment, hitting the garage, practicing and recording in hopes of making it, entitled “Sketch 4”. Over the past year Beau Wanzer’s output has been fueled by deformed synths, grim vocals, and hard hitting drums more suited for dungeon dance floors than heady home listenings. For his next release he offers an icy subdued drum machine workout. ‘Oklahoma 3’ was recorded in the winter of 2009 while visiting his parent’s house over the holidays. A combination of Roland drum machines, sampled jazz tones, and ambient atmospheres the track sets a tone for a bleak winter in the countryside.
The 1st document in a 2 part project from D’Marc Cantu. Drops summer 2017 on Nation’s, sublabel Kode. Exemplary productions from the early years. Nation are greatly honored and excited to release and present these timeless gems of Jakbeat on a 1-time very limited pressing.

These songs will never be released anywhere else. While featuring a live version of ‘Waiting for Electrocution’ from the forthcoming LP, the ‘Electrocution’ EP is much more than a preview.
