Luca dell´Orso @ KitKat (Berlin) 17.05.2025

Mr. Computer sees two figureheads of Dutch electronics pay homage to the voice of electro disco, the vocoder. Figi and Luca dell’Orso team up to sing praise of a tool that has crossed genres and styles and give the little metal larynx deserved limelight on their own three track theatre. Rumbling bass is shot through with crisp snaps in the title piece, warbling vocals rising as keys dance in this wonderful collaboration.

Rich in melody and instantly classic in feel, Luca dell’Orso debuts on CWPT with a mini-album of lush Italo, sensitively summoned from the Netherlands. Having impressed with previous releases on labels including Bordello A Parigi and Red Laser Records, this longer player demonstrates a delicate approach to his studio, flitting between pop songwriting and analog experimentation.

Italo Moderni presents the final release of the year, a compilation featuring of 17 tracks from their 2021catalogue. Tracks signed by Adrian Marth, Antoni Maiovvi, Daniel Monaco, DJ Wedding, Flemming Dalum, Franz Scala, Jensen Intercepter, Marcello Giordani, Sophie du Palais and more.

After a long tradition of Italian Dance Wave compilations on Slow Motion, the time has come to let our darker (and most electronic) side shine. A new compilation, the first one on our international sister label Wrong Era: Sailor of Wrong Era, named after the infamous Berlin boat parties that became a true happening in Summer 2021. Eighteen tracks split into two volumes comprising the very own Wrong Era style, crafted by renowned veteran artists and upcoming international talents from all around the globe.

The Jolisa EP marks a significant shift in Luca dell’Orso’s sound. Although the electric hooks and rolling rhythms that characterise the dutchman’s signature style are still present, new avenues are explored. One notable change is the addition of vocals, care of the EP’s namesake: Jolisa.
Mushrooming into Red Laser Corp’s continuing & stringent program of providing the best modern Manctalo (TM) and related flavours, Luca Dell’Orso follows up his taster session on Red Laser EP9 (RL28) with a fully realized solo EP. Based in Holland and obviously taking in the might of European dance influences that surround him, ‘A New Paradigm’ spawns a new natural genome, between Italo disco, Belgium new beat and our own, homegrown synth jizz that we’ve championed from the start.

XXX009 provided by a really talented guy from the east of the Netherlands who goes by the name of Luca dell’Orso. Full on italo on this EP from high energy italo to more sophisticated slow burners. Machinegewehr on remix duties who takes one of the originals into a more darker approach suitable for dark basements when we’re able to party again.

Number six is here with four new artists making their debut on Bordello A Parigi: Daniel Kyo from Spain, Mystery Of Science from Quebec, John Parsley & Jack Pattern from Switzerland and Luca Dell’Orso from The Netherlands.
