The new Matterwave label drops its first release including a fine remix by Staffan Linzatti. Focus will be the darker sides of functional techno which shows perfectly with this first Mills-esque release.

Staffan Linzatti is back with a well balanced spaced-out techno triple pack on the ever evolving Field Records. Ever since ‘The Event’ we knew that our reality was becoming more hostile towards our presence in it. The very fabric of it was changing, and we would either have to change with it, or change our reality. A program called ‘The Dispatch’ was created as a means to preserve human existence through an infinite number of simulated universes. A simulation in which each universe would serve as a world for future humans. A world indistinguishable from the ‘real thing’. As we write this, ‘The Dispatch’ – your future as humans – is being coded and compiled. During execution, our existence will end – and your new world will replace ours. Our story, our memories will live on in your reality. Our creation, embedded deep within the ‘The Dispatch’, will be a brave tale of perhaps our greatest achievement – if not our very last.

Bolstered by the unshakable body of work behind it, Brooklyn-born Berlin-based techno label Chronicle reaches its milestone tenth release with its gaze fixed dead ahead. Ten releases in, it pays to make a strong, defiant statement of intent, toasting to what the label has been about so far. More important though is to remind those tuned in to take heed, because the next step is always the most significant. Joining in on this behemoth project is; Aiken, Arnaud Le Texier, Ben Gibson, Hironori Takahashi, Imugem Orihasam, Echoplex, Mike Storm, Staffan Linzatti, & Zadig. The forward-thinking nature of the music in this collection sums up the ethos of Chronicle as a whole. Each artist has a distinct identity but they all strive to push techno into unexplored realms, placing the emphasis on atmosphere and psychological impact. In such an approach can the most affecting sounds be found, and there will surely be few listeners left unmarked by this record.

The first chapter in a series of three EPs to come from Dutch label Field Records is from Swedish producer Staffan Linzatti. Hypnotic techno from the outer edges of our galaxy combined with richly melodic, angelic and heavenly electronics on the deep space affair. Dedicated Millsian productions which are riddled with spaceship communications and distant sonar pushes.

Balans welcomes back Swedish-born Staffan Linzatti for his second release on the Dutch imprint with Dividing in Two, an energetic two-track EP keeping consistent with the labels vision of delivering classic techno rhythms. ‘Dizziness’ opens the EP with a hypnotizing yet airy signal that captivates upon overture. Combined with a rolling bass and quintessential claps it is sure to enchant any listener. On side B, ‘Clarity’ takes a whole new direction opening straight into a full-blown kick and high hats that persist throughout the track.

Efdemin presents the 1st part of a remix series, featuring mixes by Asusu, Staffan Linzatti & The Borderline State.

The second release on Silent Signal is a collaboration between Helena Gallardo and Tadeo. The EP comes with a remix by Staffan Linzatti.

Staffan Linzatti returns for his second release on Chronicle with another uncompromising selection of linear techno constructions sculpted with an unfaltering vision of how hypnotic body music can transcend simple rhythmic needs. Icy atmospherics and razor-sharp production make for one of the strongest manifestations of Linzatti’s distinctive sound.

At the edge of failure a door to greater understanding and discovery is sometimes opened. Some of mankind ?s greatest discoveries and experiences took place by sheer coincidence or even by mistake. From the Big Bang, to Penicillin, or the “invisible light” we call x-rays, chance and human error has played a big part of our history and evolution as a species – can we really afford to be perfect when we owe our mistakes and weaknesses so much?

Swedish futurist Staffan Linzatti has joined ranks with BALANS and he delivers 4 transmissions of alienating techno. Bleeps, haunting strings and off course 909 drummachines going mental. His work has always sounded unpredictable, brooding, dark and seem to follow musical rules from another realm. It’s as if these 4 tracks are delivered to us from a wormhole from the other side of the galaxy.

Various artists compilation on Semantica’s Nonnative series with stripped pulsating techno tracks by Giorgio Gigli, Cassegrain, Baryta and Staffan Linzatti.

The second release by Staffan Linzatti on his own Searchlights label. Hypnotic stripped sci-fi techno tracks proving there is unknown life to be seen through the looking glass. Sci-fi techno tracks that tell a story. The ”Through The Looking Glass” inspiration for the artist is the concept of the examination of the relationship between the observer and the tools used for the observation.

Split EP on Stockholm LTD. S100’s Kalibrator and Murphy tracks sit on the A-side, with a classic techno formula that includes both an intro and a main track. Staffan Linzatti is a Stockholm LTD veteran and has been one of the label owner Par Grindviks favourite artists for years. Staffans contribution to Sthlm LTD 023 Prophet Of Regret comes in three parts, one main track and two interludes which all are wrapped with emotions and strength.
