Insubordinate and averse to anything going on in the EDM world the dutch derelict of techno is back with a luminous new album on Clone Records. Steamy and mysterious as ever The Paranormal Soul is advancing the trademark Legowelt sound into new directions. Mangling up the historical foundations of New York, Detroit, Chicago and early U.K Rave, mixing it with seedy witchcraft rituals and deep space psychedelics for a boundless journey into techno mysticism.

A special collection of all the limited records released over the years on Sushitech inside a solid carton box designed by Kerry Roper. The box include 5 x 10INCH clear marbled records with some new and exclusive mixes! Tracks by Franco Cangelli, Leonel Castillo, Anonym, Delano Smith, Norm Talley, Mike Huckaby.

Mike Huckaby returns on SYNTH with a reissue of two of his most sought after productions. “Flashbacks” from M3 Records (1997), and his very own remix of Precession “Sandcastle,” taken from the Adventures Of Techno Soul LP on Ferox Records (1996).

Three track vinyl sampler EP from the upcoming L.I.E.S. “American Noise” 2xcd compilation. This sampler expands upon three completely styles reflective of the diverse L.I.E.S. catalog to date. Torn Hawk pulverizing the entire a-side with his most unclassifiable material to date, Marcos Cabral returning to the label with a sinister 110 BPM techno track, and Delroy Edwards doing a blown-out Barney’s workout.

Muscle Records is a label for upfront dirty dance music. All tracks are conceived naturally and recorded on tape, so an elemental and honest approach is required to fully dive into Muscle Records sounds. Riviera is a band formed by a bunch of young talented gritty analogue junkies, most of which has already released on a couple of disrespected labels. The band first jams were recorded on parching tape in a sultry warehoue close to the Brenta’s muddy banks with a noisy dockyard of transistors delights.

Chicago’s Steven Tang with four brand new tracks, with Tang’s unique trademark blend of raw jacking Chicago beats and Detroit-inspired atmospheres. One of the few contemporary techno artists that truly delivers music for both body and soul.

Get The Curse Music is back for a very special debut release by Parisian artist Low Jack. At the crossroads between avant-garde techno-funk and a mischievous take on the sound of yesterday, Low Jack’s clockmacker beats are channeled through a radiesthesia pendulum and the effects are akin to vertigo-inducing opiates of the strongest persuasion. In addition to the three outstanding originals, this release contains Gerd’s very first remix as Geeeman.

Nonplus imprint looks to Sweden for its next release, with one of Skudge’s rare appearances outside of their own imprint. Lead track “Fingers” is as simple as techno gets, as peak time chords filter through a strong 909 kick in a fashion reminiscent of Shed’s most effective Equalized moments. “Vessel” meanwhile is a more slow burning affair, building up its mechanistic arpeggio over swelling analogue pads and stray claps, combining classic Detroit sci-fi moods with a Berghain scale.

Marcel Fengler returns with a solo EP for Ostgut Ton. Consistently providing quality over quantity this long awaited new 12“ surprises yet again as Fengler develops his funkier side further for the label. The A-side track „Frantic“ then immediately brings the essence of peaktime energy to the point. Bathing in melodic synth stabs, it mixes with wide open fields of euphoria. Instantly moving and memorable, it’s a track that crosses borders and unites different territories of techno and house. „6 In A Row“, the first track on the B-Side, tries to deceive with a simple & mellow arrangement but soon enough grabs the listener from behind with it’s cleverly built architechture that mounts with subtle waves to an addictive groove, a lesson in how to use a less-is-more approach to maximum effect. As if this wasn’t convincing enough the Berghain Resident now ventures further into spaced out dub structures & melodies and immerses the listener into sheer silk with the smooth „Mosaique“, a side of Marcel that he has only hinted at before but a pleasure to hear it fully realized on this track.

Abstract deep pulsating and hypnotizing Nordic techno from Abdulla Rashim. Slowly building and well executed tracks that stand out. We can make some sonic links to groundbreaking labels such as Detroits Strobe label, dark and acid driven introvert techno tracks.

Juan Rico aka Reeko presents the Episodio III of Ella. Featuring two tracks “Segmento 5” and “Segmento 6” and this EP is on the dub side of techno. In terms of his quality and skill, these tracks show that he must be brimming with ideas.

The mysterious Xosar recorded a brand new zonked out mix to celebrate her “Nite Jam” release!

Jamal Moss is back on Morphine, although you wouldn’t think it by the sounds of these tracks. Both tracks clock in around the 13 minute mark and totally go there. Clued up sickness again on this excellent label.

Finale Sessions presents two of Chicago’s finest producers. Amir Alexander is making a big stir in the deep house department, known for releases on his label Vanguard Sound, and brings his vibe to Finale Sessions. ”Eyes Open Mouth Shut” has deep pads and his prototype bass lines makes for a dance-floor killer. ”Bittersweet Memories” has a streamlined bass, drifting pads and flowing synth work makes for a collectve bliss. Hakim Murphy is part of the next generation Chicago heavy hitters and he brings us two tracks that are sure to open many people’ s eyes. ”Hazey Plains In Time” with a deep techno undertone and deep house appeal most def a late night killer. ”Chill” is a chill track to level off the EP with deep chords and a perfect selection of keys.

Following up on his guest appearance remixing “Subsequent” on EPISODES01, Hakim Murphy resurfaces from the abyss exploring a sub-aquatic palette of sounds for EPISODES02. This 4-track EP strips back his sound further while stepping up the funk. Limited to 200 copies, including numbered insert.
