Christian Prommer – Drumlesson Zwei [257E]

The first release from Christian Prommer’s new Drumlesson album Drumlesson Zwei takes the Munich-based DJ and producer’s inspired fusion of techno and jazz, digital and analogue, to a new level of excellence. The Munich-based collective creates electro-organic cover versions of Knights of Jaguar, the legendary techno classic by DJ Rolando and Underground Resistance’s Mad Mike Banks and Groove La Chord by the Stockholm-based Aril Brikha.
Aufgang – Barock [IF2022]

Aufgang – the trio comprised of classically trained Francesco Tristano and Rami Khalifé, along with drummer and percussionist Aymeric Westrich are causing quite a fuss with their eponymous long-player on Agoria’s Infine´ imprint. The remix package kicks it off with a customarily jacking tech re-rub from Robert Hood. Meanwhile, youthful French experimentalist Mondkopf turns in a slo-mo, electronica-drenched remix. The Ep is closed by Hamburg trio Wareika’s 11.50 minute deep workout.
Marcel Dettmann – Dettmann Remixed [OTON033]

Norman Nodge and Wincent Kunth are on remix duty for these tracks of his forthcoming album. Proper stripped down berlin techno tracks.
Mutant Clan – Figure Spc F [FIGSPCF6]

The considerably epic ‘We Are’ fuses classic elements of tweaking acid, bright jacking drums and an extended, open-ended arrangement that floats atop a choir of celestial rave angels…! Built for cavernous techno meccas, or up-close and personal basement sweat-boxes alike. In comparison the deep house tones of ‘I Feel The Sense’ retain the excellent production values that we’ve come to expect from this pair, and take a trip down a dubbed and shuffling melodious path.
Peter Van Hoesen – mnml ssgs mx50
Jason Fine – Future Thought Remixed [Kontra013]

Kontra-Musik continues its 10inch remix series. This turn is for Ben Klock and Oni Ayhun to get busy and rework tracks from the Jason Fine’s “Future Thought” album.
Delta Funktionen – Fabric Promo Mix February 2010
Mesak – Dadawheel [KLAKSON021]

Mesak delivers a full length (soon to be released) and this is a limited advance vinyl copy of that album. Mesak delivers great Nordic electrofunk and of course Marcel Dettmann delivers what people expect… phat Berlin styled basement style techno tracks that will be many peoples favorite
Marcel Dettmann – CLR podcast #50
Oni Ayhun – Oar 004 [OAR004]

This music works by releasing carbon dioxide gas into a batter through an acid-base reaction, causing bubbles in the wet mixture to expand and thus leavening the mixture. It is used where the batter lacks the elastic structure to hold gas bubbles for more than a few minutes. Because carbon dioxide is released at a faster rate through the acid-base reaction than through fermentation, music made by chemical leavening is called ‘quick compositions’.
Antonelli Electr. – Cancel [Level9019956]

“Cancel” is Duesseldorf based producer Antonelli Electr. 3’rd EP for Level Records. All tree tracks are arranged and recorded live without any edits resulting in very pure record which a magical flow. The first track is the very dense and euphoric House hymn “Hush”. “Deal” and “Cosy” are both quite stripped down House tracks which where created only on one Drum sequencer. Lowtec the man behind the label Workshop finishes the EP with his delightful rework of “Cosy”.
Dexter – Redbox / 1992 [DOLLY02]

Dexter drops Dolly 2 with some mad old schoolish Detroit influence called 1992… this is what we would have loved to hear from Reese! With the trade mark sharp beats of Dexter injected with phat funking KMS techno (including Reese bassline). Redbox is the same recipe. Dancefloor orientated old school house and techno influences with powerful production skills.
David Siska – Idle Blues 31.01.2010
Falko Brocksieper – Dark Whisperings
Peter Van Hoesen & Donato Dozzy – Talis / Into The Red [CURLE024]

After Thomas Brinkmann’s first new EP since long, it’s now time for the second Curle offering of 2010. Donato Dozzy has been a long time favorite of us, with his unique hypnotic sound, that you can hear on his releases for labels such as Orange Groove, Elettronica Romana and Aquaplano. In our humble opinion he’s one of the best Italian techno artists around. Peter Van Hoesen on the other hand has been a long time friend of us, being also from Brussels, the home of Curle. He is one of the artists that will certainly have his big breakthrough during 2010, with the upcoming release of his debut album.
San Soda & Just Nathan – Lany 3 [Lany003-6]

On this untitled ep San Soda teams up with his friend Just Nathan. Just Nathan is another experienced belgian DJ who has something to offer to the world, adding further proof to the fact that Belgium has more skills than making waffles and harassing children. Tracks in between house and techno that will definately shake up any crowd!
Conforce – Machine Conspiracy [MEAN020CD]

Conforce, aka Dutch techno producer Boris Bunnik, will release his debut album next month on Meanwhile. Entitled Machine Conspiracy, the album continues in the same vein as Conforce’s recent releases on Meanwhile and Modelisme, focusing on a bright and buoyant dub techno vibe. The album was recorded mostly in his bedroom in Leeuwarden, with two tracks originating on the Island of Terschelling, an isolated Dutch isle where Bunnik grew up, which is pictured on the album’s cover. Aside from “Love-Hate” and “Stop Hold,” which appeared on last month’s Love & Hate EP, all the tracks on Machine Conspiracy are previously unreleased.
