Tyree Cooper - Da Soul Revival Classics Vol 1

Da Soul Revival Classics Vol.1 presents two gems from the Tyree Cooper canon and ensures the newly established Chicago Vinyl Records operation launches in fine style. The label delve into Cooper’s Dancemania contributions on the A Side, plucking out the B Side bump of “Kan I Get High” which originally saw release on his 1997 Future Recooped 12″ for the iconic imprint. Alex Cortex – Oh Yeah [KHT001]

Cover art - Alex Cortex: Oh Yeah

Killekill announces the start of a sub label focusing the housier side of music. Killekill House Trax starts with the release of a track by Alex Cortex. Quite uptempo but groovy as hell “Oh Yeah” comes along with a strong reminiscence to classic chicago house with its strong bassline and the catchy vocal sample. Tyree Cooper added a simple but well working piano and packed the original into an even more classic outfit.
