Fourth release for Mystic Transfers with the alternative group Zona Utopica Garantita ”ZUG” with an EP based on the single ”Tanz Minimal”, an infernal circle dotted with minimal wave shadows and rhythmic rustles that convey into a well-defined space in time. Accompanied by the versions of Gropina, which faithfully reflects the elegance and style, Toulose Low Trax’s dubby version with kraut rock reminiscences and ultimately a hypnotic version native to the dark world of headacheaday. ZUG’s music is a marriage between the machine-gunned punk of CCCP and the Body Music of the teutonic DAF, with his own poetry and experimental attitude.

For the sixteenth output, Marguerite Records presents a new compilation. The A side marks the eclectic label shadow: ‘Condizione Umana’ by Italian Massacres, the duo composed by Violet Poison and Davide Pestillo, opens the release with an enigmatic VHS-tinged composition, sci-fi b-movie soundtracks inspired. A2 ’Zezuru’, a giant cinematic drone wrapped in distorted percussion by LIES affiliated German Army followed up by ‘Drone Thugs & Harmonies’, a slow tempo psychedelic-dub from Dutch’s Galactic Funk owner Bertram. Closing up the first side is ‘Solar’, an authentic electro full speed track by the Croatian musician and sound engineer Zarkoff. ‘Lies in Disguise’ has an obscure synth bass sequence and textured vocals by KRI affiliated the duo Black Dot and opens up the second side, followed up by ‘Cage’, produced by the Italian New-Beat master Unconscious. After that, Florence’s Synth-Punk band Zona Utopica Garantita maintains the old-school vein with ‘Lifetime Shock’. The release is closed by the firework-ish beats of ‘Tory Gloryhole’ by Autumns.

The annual unusual sounds gathering in Barcelona is here again. The 2023 edition of the OMBRA Festival is a special one, celebrating the 5th anniversary. The festival is returning it’s former industrial aesthetics, after one year of transition from the former space Utopia 126, the industrial area in El Poublenou.
This year the festival will happen in a new and captivating venue that perfectly embodies OMBRA’s essence of industrial aesthetics, the former Mercedes-Benz factory, ENMASA.

ZUG) is a 2019 musical project born from the join of Frasco (Bloodygrave & Die Lust, SPO) and Jules (Cronaca e Preghiera, Nono) forming a Punk Electronic collective, that springs a vital live playing over electronic sequences. The joining of Danilo Fatur (CCCP – Fedeli alla Linea) with his charisma, experience and poetry and Misha on synthesizers stabilize the band with a solid musical estethic, direct and radical. ZUG’s music is a marriage between the machine-gunned punk of CCCP and the Body Music of the teutonic DAF, with his own poetry and experimental attitude.
