Jen & Ed – EDJ 001 [EDJ001]

New label by Jus-Ed and Jenifa Mayanja. Their first records as couple. Jen’s track is a real stunner here with deep intens strings and hypnotic beats. Ed is doing a track that reminds of a rave track with a hit that sounds like an early UR cut on top of a basic drum machine pattern and crazy vocal samples. Slowly building and not taking the pressure off.
Gerd – Palm Leaves Remixes [ROYAL010R]

Two producers on duty for Gerd’s Palm Leaves remixes. Sometimes an amazing track like Palm Leaves just screams for a rework by someone who really could do something nice with it. And this seems to be the perfect remix duo… Larry Heard aka Mr Fingers and Deetron. One for the body and one for the soul!
Leonid Nevermind – Remixes [NOW006]

Remixes for Leonid, by Dutch duo Duijn & Douglas, Kris Wadsworth and Miles Sagnia. True deep house gems with funky basslines, straightforward beats and a sweet deep Detroit techy vibes.

The LP gives off a jigsaw effect, pulling apart genres of music while delicately piecing together a mass of influences from all over the musical spectrum. The album itself is a masterpiece; ram packed with deep nostalgic notes while being filled to the brim with crunching dance floor bangers!
