VC-118A aka Samuel van Dijk guides the listener into deeper realms of sound via three more expertly crafted electro tracks. Aficionado’s of VC-118A’s deep sound will be particularly pleased with this latest installment of emotive electronics from the VC-118A project. Delta Funktionen makes his Lunar debut and completes the EP with a killer techno / electro remix of Vlucht Naar Nachtschade. German producer Vertical67 debuts on Lunar Disko Records, with a 10″ consisting of 3 deep & dreamy tracks. The uplifting ‘In Space’ covers the A-side with bright and protruding soundscapes, glistening like stars in a far away galaxy. The B-side opens up with ‘Craic Memories’, portraying a house groove throughout, yet still retaining an electro mood amongst some delicate and twinkling melodies. Finishing up the EP is the affectionate ‘Mutuality’, displaying adept drum programming alongside a lush female voice which rises sporadically above dreamy melancholic sounds and a soft brooding vox.
Lunar Disko Records presents its first LP from Dutch artist VC-118A. ‘International Airlines’ is based on a retro-futuristic concept of aircrafts, drawing inspiration from this idea throughout to create an ethereal sculpture of sounds. VC-118A aka Samuel van Dijk guides the listener through a network of light and emotions via seven intense and atmospheric electro/techno tracks that will leave you floating deep within inner space. Constructed in the north of Holland, ‘International Airlines’ explores the artists concept of aircrafts through emotive soundscapes, brooding over an array of analytic drum programming. Each track levitates the listener to another atmosphere – never attached to geographical locations or time. Gravitating from beginning to end, ‘International Airlines’ displays the artists focus on his subject – an air flight through different colours of sound.
To celebrate the 10th release on Lunar Disko Records, they will release a 10″ from Automatic Tasty. LDR 10.10 is a conceptual 4 track EP named Fieldwork.
