Bastedos returns hosting two disco objects lovingly versioned by Nad. One side features the vocal talents of a mystery man with low riding balls imploring those gathered to hear him to ‘join his party’…if you look at his backside, so to speak, you will head off down to sunny rainbow filled Castro for a happy sing along and dancing tune versioned from vaults of Moby Dick.

Paul Cottam was diagnosed with Encephalomyelitis disseminata, or multiple sclerosis, just as his first records were released in 2009. The symptoms can come and go, one day you can feel OK and the next day a relapse can floor you. The last 2 or 3 years the relapses have become more frequent and aggressive. Both these tracks were written in the depths of a relapse; constant severe pain, couldn’t walk or even stand for long enough to play some records. He was housebound, and cabin fever was setting in. So he sat at his computer and let the way he felt influence the music. The A side ‘Breaking through the pain barrier’ is the soundtrack to a late night chemist run, with a deep brooding bass and a tension that builds like your mind working against the disease. The B side ‘Encephalomyelitis disseminata’ has warm bass and a lively percussion groove twinned with a killer acid line and mournful strings. These tracks helped Paul through the worst of times, kept his mind off the pain and focused on something, and thankfully something positive came out of it.

Raw M.T. on Lobster Theremin label with three thundering granite slabs of techno and house. The spirit of US house genres raises it’s head once again, fuelled by a raw, scorched-earth production aesthetic coming from the deepest lair of the Italian producer.

Cardopusher appears as if by magic on Super Rhythm Trax to drop four Acid bangers. There are no frills or pretensions here, just jugular acid trax that don’t mess around. Straight up, solid and perfect for dark strobe lit basements this EP channels the rawness with aplomb.

Another solid VA on the Planet Rhythm imprint. Usual suspect ‘Yan Cook’ opens up with the sturdy techno-cut ”Canyon”. Steve Parker delivers some hypnotic acid business. Boys of the moment TWR72 come up with an intrusive bit of strongarm Techno. Alderaan closes down this EP with his arp anthem Xem.

Reflection is beginning 2016 with the long awaited return of Abstract Division to their native imprint, by the release of their first ever double EP: Contemporary Spaces. Not set out to be an album, but certainly being more than just an EP, Contemporary Spaces explores the current state of techno, providing the listener with wayward and timeless pieces drawing their inspiration from the broad spectrum of electronic music. Yet, while each individual track stands in its own place and time within this spectrum, the EP as a whole compliments the diversity of past, present and future influences and styles. Contemporary Spaces is one of their most extensive and widely aimed projects to date and solely consists of original material.

The third EP of the Exhibitionist 2 EP series is here. The recordings are taken from Jeff Mills‘ live performance in Leiden, Netherlands on 21st February 2015 and bring the EP series to a close after two first EPs which focused on the studio mix part of the follow up to his groundbreaking 2004 film Exhibitionist.

The third release from Lanthan Audio. The title track and “Dusted” are two original tracks of deep techno from Echologist, aka Brendon Moeller. Remixes of the title track also come from Deepbass and Antonio Ruscito.

Raw Raw Records presents their first vinyl release, by Stanislav Tolkachev. Four tracks with a melancolic techno vibe.

Nico Motte, the man behind the visual identity of the Parisian imprint Antinote, makes an impressive come-back on the label’s catalogue with Life Goes On If You Are Lucky. Each song seems to be the result of a long session of orchestration by Nico Motte, composer, arranger and conductor, who has been attributing to each electronic component a specific role to play in these 7 little instrumental suites, disturbed from time to time by human elements – a saxophone on Terra d’Amore, the voicefrom Syracuse’s Isabelle on Tacotac – only to reminds us that Life Goes On If You Are Lucky is above all about human fragility.

A collection of tracks, skits and moods for James Turrell´s visionary Roden Crater project by The Analog Roland Orchestra.

Death Waltz Recording Company are proud to bring you an all-new aural experience via the latest installment of the Death Waltz Originals imprint. Law Unit is a brand new creation by maestros Umberto and Antoni Maiovvi, an original concept that in the composers’ own words ”moves past the retro-futurist works of their individual solo releases to explore a world of early industrial and experimental music”. The resulting album is made up of ten dangerously cool and evocative cuts, the kind of tracks that put you in the mood for LA circa 2019, or the Detroit of 1987.

It’s been two years since Tagwell Woods first appeared on W.T. Records. His rich and refreshingly unique techno style caught the ears of the faithful. Finally, finally, the Londoner is back on vinyl with six pieces of his original brand of machine music. And the wait is worth it. Tracks like “Christmas” and “Training” pulsate with feeling. Others like “Rabbit Society” and “Chance” build on that emotion. Crisp percussion and heartening strings are weaved as lush moments and textures unfurl. The 12″ is incredibly deep and flooded with sentiment. But don’t be mistaken into thinking Tagwell Woods deals in weight, instead it’s his lightness of touch that sings. “Tied Waves” is fragile and delicate, whispering before blossoming into being. The finale, the beautifully uplifting “Velocity”, has that same deftness. Mecca defies classification. Electronica. Techno. House. Acid. All are lovingly melted together to produce an absorbing and soulful second release, a release which is testament to the talent of this fledgling musician.

Feel Music back in action. Realignment stage 1. The fruits of a journey back to the source, where it all started. Classic Feel Music tones from label owner John Daly. Do not sleep.
