Romania based MarcMan hits hard with this EP on the outstanding Monique Musique imprint. 4 dancefloor beasts for peak time action.

The Muses are the nine Goddesses who promote literature, science and the arts; the personifications of inspiration. Though only named and assigned characteristics as recently as the Roman era, they were revered by the ancient Greeks, who documented that them as having been recruited by the Egyptian God Osiris as he passed through Ethiopia prior to embarking on a tour of Asia and Europe to teach the arts of cultivation to mankind. Its with this in mind that Perseus Traxx, makes his first release on Newcastles Flight Recorder label, delivering an ode to four of them directly rather than the forms they have inhabited while they visit him. Bubbling and cutting, heavy synths and dusty tones are jammed out live to tape, ranging from the playful to the stark as they characterise the appropriately named tracks. An ordered tangle of wires and patching in a unique set of acid-free sonic experiments, that sometimes feel as cold and edgy, as they do warm and carefree.

Lost and found New Jersey house and more freestyle tracks by Ray Escortienda recorded at his basement studio in Newark during the moody winter of 1992.

The first release from Housewas Limited is comming from HVL. Deep US-inspired underground house.

Lux Rec once again explores the underground of analog possibilities. Stefan Blomeier is a extraordinary musician playing mostly live and recording on tape cassette, not having a plan but letting the music find a way out in itself. So these three tracks came out.

Sabre is a duo from Lisbon, Portugal. Coming from a more experimental and noise background, the 2 men stumbled onto something that works on the dancefloor, linear steady rhythms and off kilter melodies that make you feel like this is some kind of secret freaky hit that might even crosser over to the Balearic Islands or Cosmic Discoteques.

Titlewise not to be confused with Ferris Park 37. 4 warm house tracks from unknown producer – comes with a Damien Zala remix (Rowtag).

Tief is well know in London and beyond as being a clubnight where it resides at Corsica Studios, showcasing house and techno of only the highest quality, a standard that is now to be transferred to a record label Tief Music releasing music that we truly love from artists who have a connection with us or what we do. Tief001 comes from two close friends of Tief who are releasing music for the first time under the guise ‘Sisterhood’. The 2 original tracks capture the atmospheres, moods and energy that fits so well with Tief’s ethos and demonstrates a real skill for using analogue instruments to hair-raising effect. On remix duties we find Arttu and Juju & Jordash.

The sound of YSS, is gravitating towards old school Detroit, working harmonies as well as stabby chords, with classic 909 programing keeping the stems on a short leash. On the A side is a remix by the Chicago based producer Melvin Oliphant III aka Traxx.

Hot on the heels of the release of Neville Watson’s Songs to Elevate Pure Hearts album, Creme Organization releases a three track EP of remixes from the longplayer. The first is by Watson’s frequent collaborator, Bulgarian producer and live specialist KiNK. He tackles ‘Songs To Elevate Pure Hearts’ and laces it up with some lazy old rave breakbeats and plenty of lucid synth and melody pattern before Marquis Hawkes takes on ‘Against The Tide’. He imbues it with what is fast become a trademark sonic weirdness, with wrought iron synth bars interlocking with molten synth lines and a slow, purposeful and predatory mood. Finally, American Moon B turns in a trippy outsider house version of ‘Son Of House’ with off kilter claps, see-sawing synths and organic drums.

Drummer, producer and DJ, Esa Williams aka Mervin Granger has been a resident at Glasgow’s Sub Club for over half a decade, as well as releasing as Mervin Granger and Esa. Esa’s 12” on Burek spans the emotions upon returning to his native South Africa and the trials of becoming acquainted with his new home of Glasgow. Alongside Esa’s original cuts we also have a superb remix from Edinburgh’s Fudge Fingas. The remix encapsulates both of the original tracks and adds FF’s own distinctive slant to them to finish an EP that we are most proud to present.

For its fifth offering, Croatia’s Burek label presents the first ever solo EP by Snuffo, one half of the Snuff Crew duo and the A&R mind behind Snuff Trax. Comes with a Juju & Jordash remix!
