Late Night Approach is back on Klakson with 3 fast paced machine funk tracks.! The Italian duo is taking this EP up to a next level with their distinguished sound, a fresh blend of electro, IDM and UK goodness. Bonus on the A side is a slamming FastGraph remix.

First up on Klakson’s NR series is Berlin-based producer Privacy. There’s plenty to set the pulse racing throughout the EP, from the punchy electro beats, squelchy bass and foreboding synth-strings of opener “Slide Back”, to the rolling mid-tempo dancefloor melancholy of closing cut “(Not) Again!”, whose cascading chords and unsettling bassline help set a suitably clandestine mood. Elsewhere, “Filestream” is a fuzzy but melodious chunk of lo-fi late night electro, while “Go” is a high-octane ghetto-tech thriller capable of causing devastation on dancefloors that like it raw and speedy.

Klakson presents a reissue release featuring four valuable electro remastered tracks by The Hacker.

Late Night Approach debuts on Klakson with a hyper funky electro twelve. The two tracks on the A side both show machine music that’s simultaneously human, whether it’s the melancholic shards of melody buried under “Clarence Mews” commanding rhythmic pulsations, or the beautifully striking chords on “Luvquest”. However, the b-side takes us to gloomy subterranean pastures with the uptempo banger “Primo”, while A2 “Kit” crosses over into broken beats but still keeps the same shadowy atmosphere.

New school electro wunderkind Privacy makes his debut on Klakson with a dark four tracker that checks all the right boxes. The EP kicks off with “Four IO”, a haunting, spacey dubbed out acid roller with lush pads throughout. “U Can Tell” and “NCSC” are both specimens of the finest EBM tradition, re-interpreting the sound for 2017, while “Shove” on the B2 effortlessly transports us into deep, uptempo aquatic electro territory.

The original Klakson funkateers Steffi and Dexter return to true form with three punchy techno/electro cuts. “Zatlap” on the A Side is a lush nighttime driving track with an urgent bassline powering all through the song while spaced out strings develop. The B-side’s “Kopstoot” is a pure funk workout in the Detroit tradition while “De Fles” builds a stack of airy pads on top of a playful question and answer bass riff to maximum effectiveness.

Another electro veteran back in the game. Finish producer Mesak (also known as the other half of the legendary group Mr Velcro Fastener) has been known for his high quality, advanced spheric electro. Bessemerbirne is a massive electro-industrial 4-tracker EP with a killer remix by fellow countryman Mono Junk.

Steffi and Dexter announce the re-lauch of Klakson, the legendary electro/techno label. Klakson was one of the major west coast labels during the second wave of Dutch electro/techno heydays at the beginning of the century, releasing several classics such as Dexter’s ‘I Don’t Care’ or Fastgraph’s ‘Systematic’. Now the time is right and a return in style it is… Without mercy Dexter drops four of his trademark razor-sharp sci-fi electro p-funk bombs that will make dancefloors explode worldwide.

Mesak delivers a full length (soon to be released) and this is a limited advance vinyl copy of that album. Mesak delivers great Nordic electrofunk and of course Marcel Dettmann delivers what people expect… phat Berlin styled basement style techno tracks that will be many peoples favorite
