SIRS Travel Edits – X Mas 2023 [Free Download]
Just before Christimas time, SIRS presents a collection of 16 disco edits of some knows and unknown tunes which he made whilst traveling in 2023. These are for free downloads and artists and song title are mentioned in the download file.

The Berlin-based musical polymath SIRS (Sounds in Real Stereo) returns to his own Sirsounds Records imprint serving up more sumptuous original compositions on the searingly good ‘The East Is Near EP.’ SIRS has elegantly produced and cleverly arranged spicy and exotic cuts for different moments of the dance, however they all have something in common – an Eastern touch.
VA – Turkish Disco Folk (River Volga)
“Turkish Disco Folk – Volga Nehri” is a fantastic Turkish psychedelic disco folk track that sounds from the original 1970s. Funky sound with moog organ, bass guitar even fat synth bass riffs and double drum tunes. Carefully reworked from the master tape by Arşivplak, Olgay Neke and SIRS.
SIRS Cuts – Thank You Bundle [Free Download]
SIRS present on his bandcamp page a free download compilation including 14 of his cuts. Some of them more retouched, some less – always appreciating the original music. Original artist named in the download.

Last year I started this section for free/”name your price” music, that people or labels share on bandcamp or other platforms. Here is a selection of free music I came across this year.
Residentes Balearicos – Break the Cookies [4056813305616]
Residentes Balearicos is a musical project founded and carried by Luca Averna and Ale Doretto, both Italian residents in Ibiza since many years. When they met in Ibiza, they decided to try to make something together, and it was easy to see that these two different approaches to Music were complementing perfectly in the studio. As wide and vague the term Balearic can be sometimes, their vision is to create the different soundtracks whether for a restaurant, a beach or for the dance floor. “Break the Cookies” is def for the dance floor. On remix duty are Munich’s Permanent Vacation mastermind Benjamin Fröhlich and Sirsounds own SIRS.
