Round 4 at the Dystopian camp, this time with Alex.Do, Rødhåd and Felix K.

Percussive drive and rugged atmosphere defines the fifth Rashim 12-inch, where the body takes over the mind. This esoteric style not previously presented by Abdulla Rashim, confirms his ability and talent to further confirm he’s someone to trust. Exploration leads to innovation, and this is a prime example of shaping atmospheres into different styles.

Milton Bradley with the third release under his project Alien Rain; acid flavoured techno jams.

Donato Dozzy goes Africa! Taken from his recent exclusive podcast dedicated to the city of Roma, 200 Ep is the materialization of Donato’s dream. Three exceptional tracks for a sound ranging from a hi-tech afro-rythms to futuristic hyper-hypnotic techno assault.

Barely escaping the latest ‘Treuhand’ terror of the ex-Weimar Republic, ex-Third Reich and ex-DDR territory, ‘The Exaltics’ finally comes with His fourth and heaviest piece of ‘Zwangsarbeit’ so far within the realm of the Bunker/Panzerkreuz corpus, as this is true black ritual acid and darkcore industrial techno to the max! oh, by the way, did I already mention the war?

The first release of Belgian producer Roman Hiele. This album consists of 7 electronic tracks that represent the kick off for the Ekster label. Rattling 808s, brain bend synth lines and sideways grooves.

The Descent of Man EP is the third and last part of a trilogy on vinyl dedicated to Charles Darwin studies. This final chapter is focused on the darkest side of electronic music and his impact on human psychology. As Charles Darwin studied the evolution of physical and mental traits, we want to show how obscure, trembling and aggressive sounds generate an increasing sense of agitation and loss while mild and gloomy atmospheres can relieve the body and brain, achieving a peaceful state of mind. Don’t be afraid to move into a shady space. This is not the end even if it could be.

Italian techno artist Dario Tronchin a.k.a. Chevel making his debut on Vae Victis. “A Loveable Inciter” is a 5 tracks ep which blends elements from the last 4 yrs of Chevel’s work in the studio. “Now and Them” and “Black Forest” were recorded by Dario early this year, “Reteach” and “Basic Electricity” were written in June 2011 while Teens belongs to one of Dario’s first recordings and it’s dated 2009. All tracks were recorded on tape.

Lux Rec once again explores the underground of analog possibilities. Stefan Blomeier is a extraordinary musician playing mostly live and recording on tape cassette, not having a plan but letting the music find a way out in itself. So these three tracks came out.

The sound of YSS, is gravitating towards old school Detroit, working harmonies as well as stabby chords, with classic 909 programing keeping the stems on a short leash. On the A side is a remix by the Chicago based producer Melvin Oliphant III aka Traxx.

Three deep, spheric house tunes by Ireland’s John Daly on Secretsundaze. Glorious string loaded tracks with nice basslines and warm pads. All tracks have a nice melancholic and Detroit-ish techno feel.

OCH has a strong pedigree of collaborations with fellow underground stalwart Jay Bliss the latest to share space on a Autoreply record with the label boss. Bliss should be known to many as the co-owner of Electrique Boutique alongside Markus Homm, for a long time the only vinyl outlet in Romania, and his discography makes for impressive reading these days. Recent times have seen Mr Bliss share record space with the likes of Skudge and Petre Inspirescu on respected imprints like 20:20 Vision, All Inn, Hudd Traxx and Fear Of Flying. AUTO 015 kicks off with a bouncy rework of OCH’s “Scammell” from Bliss featuring sub-aqua sound-scapes and sonar blips on an instantly playable US inspired groove. OCH’s original has a distinctly liquid approach possibly referencing the work of LTJ Bukem and Good Looking over techno framework. Jay’s main offering “Men Are From Mars” is sexy controlled acid which OCH shifts up a gear for peak time floor-play layering the original TB303 patterns to thundering climax. Road-tested on Eleven Club, Tokyo’s Alpha System’s custom speakers.

The Essentials of Techno! It’s been twelve years since the first and last Mike Parker album called “Dispatches”. 12 years later, Prologue is very excited to host the second album from Mike and this time it’s all about techno performed as a kind of ritual. Let us open the secrets of Mike Parker’s “Lustrations”. The title has multiple meanings and stands also for clarity. Clarity is in general the attitude of Mike’s tracks. He has the massive aptitude to bring techno back to the essentials. Mike’s music has clarity in sound structures, bass lines, drums and arrangements. Everything is lead by puristic sound engineering and exactly this kind of unique and authentic Techno can be discovered on “Lustrations”. 12 hypnotic driven tracks designed to be timeless, produced to be played in techno temples in order to set the audience in hypnotism and to clear the mind.

When I opened my eyes it seemed that something has changed, the same people, the same place, the same climate, but a different situation to which I adapted by inertia, lay before us a new dimension. Thick, intimate, felt. Music as nexus. Industrial banging techno from the Spanish NX1 label.

Marco aka The Riss Jr. Zenker is back with a pumping 3 tracker right before the Bavarian summer holidays. Excellent, tough jacking, classic 1990s US Techno reminiscent EP.

The 9th release in the Truncate series featuring some solid warehouse techno tracks. This time from labelboss Truncate and Luis Flores.

Naif returns with 2 bass line-killers here on number 005, delivered by Tobias. from Berlin and o.utlier from Ireland.
