Closing the EP is “Advice”, a cut with a vintage flavor.

Marcello Napoletano – Everyday Madness [HHYR011]

Three tracks that show the original spirit of raw, emotive, jacking music. The A-side, “Everyday Madness” is simply a side long drum machine workout with some added vocal effects, perfect for a DJ tool or just for some late night dancefloor mayhem. The B-side contains two slightly more musical jaunts. “Raw As Fuck” is simply pure urgent party music for dark discoteques, with a perfectly mixed low end bass drum and a glistening sheen. “Soul Train” has a groove and a jack to it, and has a similiar sound to some of the Underground Quality records being released at present. With its farting subs and off-kilter breaks, it’ll be sure to rock your crowd late into set.
Move D – Hydrophonics EP [UZURI014]

What needs to be said about Move D? Overused, though the veteran tag is, David Moufang has been producing excellent music for many, many years. Yet, the last few have seen him receive particular acclaim, especially for his more house-flavoured work – buoyed by his increased reputation as a DJ.
Lerosa – Facade EP [UZURI013]

The number 13 maybe considered unlucky by some, but not so for Italians. Fittingly, for Uzuri 013 we welcome back Leopoldo Rosa aka Lerosa for his third release on the label – his first being back in 2007 on Uzuri 001. This new 12 inch precedes his forthcoming full length release for the label.
Morning Factory – New Memories EP [YRE027]

Morning Factory’s second Yore EP, “New Memories”, is bursting full of fresh ideas. pener “Maiden”Voyage” is classic Morning Factory, an ever-so-tight house jam that twists and turns for eight rapturous minutes. Darker undercurrents run through “Last March of the Ants” when church organ chords stretch themselves across a windswept, broken beat shuffle. Creamy organ sounds also course through “Radioshow”, which takes a nostalgic glance backward to a golden age where something like “Green Onions” had a chance of getting played on the radio. But the EP’s most body-shaking cut arrives last in the form of “Cherish”, a charging tech-house hellraiser animated by rowdy basslines and shotgun claps.
