The 2022 edition of the Ombra Festival will start tomorrow in Barcelona, with a location change. The festival program was suppose to take place for the last time at UTOPÍA 126, but the new owners of the location canceled in September Ombra’s reservation. Probably this beautiful industrial relic will make space for something more modern and cost efficient construction.

With this in mind and three month before the start the Ombra crew had to find a new home for the festival and for 2022 this will be on Friday Paral·lel and on Saturday & Sunday Poble Espanyol with Sala Input & Sala Upload. Also, the Saturday night party at Razzmatazz club continues as scheduled with two room Human Club and Lolita.

Paral·lel (former Studio54) is an old mansion converted into a beautiful amphitheater. It is an authentic multi-space edifice in the middle of the emblematic and restored Paral·lel and in the scenic and cultural axis of Barcelona. A venue with excellent acoustics, very comfortable and with two rooms: the main one with a capacity of 1000 people and the club room, up to 150.

Poble Espanyol is an open-air architectural museum located on the Montjuic mountain in the city of Barcelona. It is a museum that offers contemporary art, architecture and other content in several different venues, where the Upload and Input rooms stand out as 2 references for Barcelona nights.

The line-up is remarkable, with names like Ambasade, Beau Wanzer, Cardinal & Nun, Crash Course In Science, Container, Curses, Daniele Cosmo, In Aeternam Vale, Intergalactic Gary, L.F.T., Martial Canterel, Mick Wills, Savage Grounds, Sumerian Fleet, Twilight Ritual, Unit Moebius, Xeno & Oaklander or Zarkoff.
