The Parkwerks hit series is back with four more solid dubs for the clubs. Vol. III brings more boogie; spaced out electro disco and dancefloor bangers, and this time Parkway is thrilled to include the dub of “Got To Find” a collaboration with Nicky Benedek. As always, all four tunes are primed and loaded for the floor.
The prodigious producer Felipe Gordon returns for the fourth time on Clone Royal Oak. This time with an expansive six-track release that showcases his signature blend of rich, groove-laden tracks. The instrumental Profundo sets the tone for a fusion of jazz, soul, and vocal club-ready tunes. More than just a collection of tracks, Profundo is an exploration of Gordon’s inner world through warmth, emotion, and refined musicianship. Showing once again why Felipe is at the forefront of house music right now.
“Chacha” is the third album from one of the most groundbreaking European acts of the moment. Schulverweis, the collaboration between the prolific Levente Pavelka and the elektro enfant terrible Johannes Haas (aka L.F.T.), delivers an exceptional blend of eerie, lo-fi post-punk. This album breathes new life into an otherwise seemingly explored genre, making it an undeniable must-have for collectors drawn to the experimental edge of darkwave sounds.
“Futurespective” is a remastered compilation featuring the very best releases from the iconic Bulgarian band Les Animaux Sauvages. For the first time ever, these timeless tracks are available on vinyl.
Left Ear are delivering two previous unreleased Australian ‘experimental’ electronic tracks from the 80’s and honouring them with a split 12” release. Side A: Features an unreleased full-length version of Tim Gruchy’s Jungles, a solo electro-percussive piece recorded in Tim’s Lab D’Avoid studio in Brisbane. The track is emblematic of his style during an era when he worked extensively in music, both as a percussionist and primarily with electronics, including early analog synths. Side B: Michael Krilich’s Arnhem Land began its journey in 1982 in a shared house in North Bondi. Inspired by Brian Eno and David Byrne’s My Life in the Bush of Ghosts, he experimented with tape loops, cut-ups, and samples, incorporating synthesizers, effects pedals, a drum machine, and an unknown sample from an Australian Aboriginal record.
άσε με λάσκα (ase•me•laska) is a Greek artist and ‘τέζα ε;’ is his debut release. This 7 tracks pay-as-you-want release is available on his bandcamp page.
The fifth release on the BINAR-Label is a remix EP of four tracks. Efdemin remixed Decka, Amotik remixed Kameliia, The Lady Machine remixed Kaiser and Jeroen Search remixed Border One. The record is varied with emotional parts, over deep dives up to peak time sound.
Marco Zenker is back on his own Ilian Tape label out of Munich. He brings heavy but soulful drum patterns to ‘909D’ with its fizzing hi-hats and restless energy sure to sweep you up. ‘RC24’ then has skittish snares skating over a broken beat while smeared chords infuse it with warmth and ‘Mango Tango’ then gets prickly with clicky beats and bass. ‘Process Dub’ shuts down with more sheet metal sounds wrapping and wafting between tight drums and backed by a nice diffuse synth glow.
Cut from the mega-mix these are five, long play, full length versions of tracks from the og megamix LP. Featuring two new and unreleased versions of the Robert Owens cut from the record. The Robert Owens accapella was discovered by R+L Productions and licensed officially from Mr. Owens. The other three tracks follow suit and are retouched new extended full length versions from the megamix.
Tom Carruthers is back with his debut drop on Syncrophone Prod, bringing straight fire with raw vibes and slick beats. “No Frequency” hits hard with four bangers that blend old-school flavors with a fresh twist.
For their third release Ethos Records invites DimDJ. The well-established Greek artist digs deeper, matching the label’s previous releases, delivering an unfiltered & raw sounding EP.
Since its inception in 2020, Italo Moderni’s energy, spirit and inspiration has been the dancefloor. The darkened bunkers of Belgium, the trembling speakers of Valencia, the warming dawn of Rimini, these influences have been the lifeblood. Solidifying this tireless effort, Mellow Bangers Vol 2 is the label’s most ambitious collection to date.
This transmission is pure unfiltered West Coast Squirrel Bait, C.L.A.W.S. featuring a cast of collaborators within the Squirrels extended universe. Dark after-hours to high desert romance, Mission District alley cats searching for sunlight. Squirrels On Film label cofounder Solar joins for a ‘Black Magic Carpet Ride’. ‘Wild Slugs United’ features deadly bass clarinet blasts by Paul Costuros (of Murder Murder / Death Sentence: Panda! et al).
‘End Beginnings’, the new album by Sandwell District, is the collective’s first new music since the tragic death of Juan Mendez (Silent Servant) in January 2024. Mendez’s stunning artwork and visuals have always been a central pillar of Sandwell District; in fact, he worked on a piece titled ‘End Beginnings’ – now the title of the third album and a tribute to their late friend. ‘End Beginnings’ invites new recruits – Monic, Rivet, and Sarah Wreath – and brings together towering techno and mind-blowing dancefloor dynamics, a masterful combination of innovation and ecstasy. It’s as deep, sturdy, and hypnotic as you would hope from the unit that invoked a sea change in techno and related club music during the 2000s and early 2010s.
