Fachwerk Ep No.2 with the FW posse doing what they do best! Mike Dehnert, Roman Lindau and Sasha Rydell dropping some solid techno tracks with irresistible grooves in their signature production style. On this Ep 2 all tracks are working around cut up vocal samples and a slightly more minimal techno-ish vibe.

Philpot presents a solo release by Murat Tepeli. The style feels right at home on the label, not least on the tumbledown beats and rubbery sub bass of “Mastika”. There’s a definite Berlin weight behind the monstrous kick on “Clifetelli” which sounds primed for Panoramabar, but it’s not all fist-pumping brawn as “Good” proves. Displaced flurries of drums appear occasionally, but really this track is all about the haunting melodic refrain.

Two remixes for Rick Wade’s “Night Station” on P&D Recordings by Zadig and P&D (Phil Weeks & Didier Allyne).

Raw techno and dark wave craftsmen Morphosis is back with a new two tracker on his own Morphine imprint. A-side ‘Exposure’ hears an ambulance-like siren pan across a desolate landscape of buzzing and humming static. It’s bleak but somehow optimistic and sounds typically ‘live’, whilst ‘Postatomicpoetry’ has a heavy bottom end thudding deep down below as various machine noises and electric wires stretch out in all directions above. It’s chilly, hostile and heady, building in highly hypnotic layers like only Morphosis can.

The final part of Svreca’s “Obscur”series with 2 new tracks and old ones remixed by Silent Servant, Skirt, Regis and Orphx.

Having become something of a regular fixture in the Mote Evolver camp, Shifted is back once again to head up Side A of the second Parallel Series 12″. As you might expect, the techno comes bleak and throbbing from the Shifty one, although avoiding excessive heaviness over immersive progression and dubby FX. On the flip Samuli Kemppi plies his quirkier trade, using offbeat synth mess to counteract the steady rhythm of the bottom end on “Trans Neptunian”. “Detached Object” meanwhile fires off streams of interlocking sounds which spiral around the relentless kick for a classy exercise in techno restraint.

Debut release on A&S Records by the dutch duo Dimi Angelis and Jeroen Search, featuring some dark and dirty analogue mixup between detroit techno and chicago house.

Ugandan Methods = Ugandan Speed Trials (Regis) + Ancient Methods. ‘Sixth Method’ is their second collusion of Industrial Techno mechanics, following a razing session on Downwards’ DN label in 2009. A-side is the droning, ‘floor ploughing behemoth ‘Beneath The Black Arch’, spiking AM’s war funk rhythms with a seething tribalist madness to deadly impact. Flipside ‘Between A Sleep And A Sleep’ relies on a more subtle sense of swing and hypnotic layering to deliver the desired effect, before they gorge on bludgeoning kicks and skin-flailing noise with remorseless brutality on ‘She Belongs To An Eternity’.

Subsist Records delivers a cutting edge underground electronic/techno music compilation, showcasing a selection of tracks in all shapes and forms from talented electronic music producers across the globe.

Debut release from Detroit producer/DJ/FIT SOUND label owner, Aaron “FIT” Siegel on FXHE Records. Serious vocal house music that will uplift your spirits while sweatin’ out on the dancefloor! “Tonite” features the incredible vocals of Detroit singer L’Renee.

Manchester’s favourite purveyor of dusty dancefloor ecstasy returns with the fourth installment of his notorious Ruf Kutz series.

Deep Explorer imprint comes correct with a limited edition white label 10″ from Kai Alce. The Willow EP positively drips with Detroit machine soul; the title track features floating synths and a subtle bassline working beneath Azulu Phantom’s vocals. This leads into the excellent “Track 3”, which features some raw, brittle drums, soulful moans and an unforgettably deep bass line. Flip over for the acid-tinged Deep Explorer remix of the title track, which takes the original and spans it out over an entire side of wax with subtly hypnotic results.

Pablo Roman Alcalá aka Beaner brought some seriously sexy bent grooves over to Brooklyn for those ever lasting late night benders. He returns to take his place on the dance floor with four deep, fractured after-hours jams. The name “Mixed Doubles” is apt, as you’ll find the pairings of unlikely elements on these tracks aligning nicely… before they are slowly pried apart.

Sudden Drop ditch the techno sounds their release and head back to the more classic deep house sounds that signified the launch of the label. Ivano Tetelepta is the man chosen to lead the way back to house with this excellent double header of super slick sounds. ‘Throwdown House’ treads a hypnotic path whilst flipsides ‘That Deep Shit’ opts for a more traditional deep house vibe.

Recloose is back on Rush Hour with a new 12″, featuring 3 soulfull house tracks and with a corking Carl Craig re-edit.

New release from Photonz on Don’t Be Afraid imprint. “Spectre” is a forward thinking house track with a jaded xylophone hooks and cold as ice groove. “Wall” is a slice of trademark Photonz Portuguese acid, an infinite groove that builds and builds. “Dokos” is a more downbeat track, with old school house sound of Chicago and Detroit. “Prometheus” catches the pair at their most experimental, upping the tempo and unleashing an ambitious techno juke roller.

First collaboration between frenchy “Professor Inc” & Detroiter “Kris Wadsworth” that will takes you deeply inside the Motor City Town, Daytwa.

Forth Lonesome Hero release features a solid house track that kicks off with an intoxicating metalic bassline that hypnotically segues into The Rasundas’ staple groove-heavy drums, with an achingly timeless piano peppered all over the top. On the flip-side, the boys over at Campaign of Love handle the remix duties. By tracking it out a bit, COL have roughed up the original with a combination of strings and 909 snares, while keeping the spirit of the original mix alive with a snippet of its massive bassline.

“Always Then” is the second album from UK post punk band The KVB aka Klaus von Barrel. The album will be released on Clan Destine Records and is featuring 10 dark wave, new wave tracks.
