Weird shapes emerge from the darkness, illuminated only by muted street lamps and neon signs. The CPR album sifts through the shadows of night life decadence, influenced dimly lit romantic and mysteries that lurk on the streets in the early hours of the morning. CPR is a collaboration of a mysterious Berlin duo of lovers, Alexandra Ismalone and Tobias Lisius. Together they conjure a sound that paradoxically traverses darkness and brightness – diving into the depht of the unconsciousness leading to a hypnotic, transportive and psychedelic state done within a dark, intriguing and mysterious way.
Private Records is back with the archives of SONY Music and the library archive of Ambros Seelo. The German musician Ambros Seelos recorded this psychedelic Disco, Afro Funk and Jazz magic during the 1970’s and early 1980’s.
A journey into the past and the future of Italo Disco music through the stories of the original 80’s heroes and cult DJs and the voice of the new generation of artists, radio broadcasters and fans ready to carry on the Italo Disco Legacy.
One of the most unconventional techno tracks which were released during the last years. Catchy pop like and unbelievable dark at the same time. H-Friend starts at the peak and then progressively reduces itself into an intro that is actually the outro of this song. (Black) Devil like totally reverted – the start could be the end, the end could be the start. Remixed by Benedikt Frey. A typical project by Berlin based label Private Records that results in a lot more than the single ingredients. A fantastic follow up on the new Closing the Circle label. Get some magic as long as it is available.
A bag filled with ‘computerized love’. This 2xLP compilation including scarce, valuable and sought after European computer inspired underground dance music productions from about 1979 to 1982. Timeless sound from a decade when nobody expected that in the future men and woman would be online all day and night, texting, dating and playing computer games nonstop Eurovison song contest participant „Carol Rich“ throwing in the name for this record set with her song „Computered Love“ . Including the first time official re-release of the song „Transvolta – Disco Computer (long 12“ version)“ by Dan Lacksman aka Telex (Eurovision song contest, 1980) and 12 more songs. Very 80’s minimalistic lineprinter / computer inspired design.
Schaltkreis Wassermann returning with a 2LP album including all their 1980’s minimal synth and soundtrack productions from around the recording sessions of their debut album Psychotron. The bands captured the impressions from the LSD dimension, converted them into synthetic sounds and bringing them to the listeners mind with their music releases. An unique form of art, expecially exciting if you are minding they are from the inner circle of group around Albert Hofmann (the explorer and designer of the substance LSD which changed the world in 1960s). Stella and PJ lived in Albert Hofmans house, on weekends they done their LSD research sessions in their studio, experimenting with their ARP2600 synthesizer. Some tracks made it on their debut album Psychotron, the rest is available now on their 2nd album „SKW“.

An album completely filled with unreleased music productions by Gerhard Heinz. Cosmic Disco, Minimal Synth, Electro,,, music from old porn and horror movies from the mid 70’s to early 80’s. What’s actually unbelievable is that while checking Gerhard Heinz’s audio archive a 12” Maxi Version of Hydrogen – Cheaters Theme which runs about 5 min. showed up. This is certainly one of the most wanted cosmic library tracks ever and will be also featured. The first 50 vinyl copies will include a CD safety copy with 6 more unreleased tracks (for example the disco tracks which is played at the pool party of ”Bloody Moon” aka ”Die Sge des Todes” by Jess Franko as 12” Maxi Single version which runs for more than 6 min).

Official release of the previously unreleased album of the famous 12” classic. ASSO the alter ego of italian producer Victorio Pezzolla is something like a Italo Disco one hit wonder. The Do it Again / Don’t Stop 12” has original been released in 1983 and is meanwhile one of the most sought after 12” releases from Italy. Unfortunately the related album hasen’t been brought to the market back in the 80’s. Victorio Pezzolla and Private Records rediscovered the original analog master tape some months ago in an archive of an Italian publisher. The absurdity that the music has never been commercially released leads to the fact that this masterpiece, a complete unreleased original 80’s album, will be brought to you fresh and unspent in 2012. Italo Disco, Space Funk and balearic grooves are combining to an unique Italo Disco release.
Private Records releases a compilation of scarce and sought after tracks which previously have only been released on 7” somewhere in the late 70’s and early 80’s. A cosmic journey into early techno and modern club music prototypes.
